As Countess of Halstaig
Following her mother's unexpected death in 1849, Theodosia ascended to the comital throne of Halstaig. Her leadership skills would be immediately tested as in the month following her ascension, the Aster Revolution began.
The Aster Revolution
Early into the month of Tobias's Bounty of 1849, Philip Amadeus, the grandson of the emperor at the time, Philip II declared a formal rebellion against his grandfathers rule. At the time of the declaration, Theodosia resided in the far western reaches of the Empire, unable to attend to the immediate conflict. She had initially intended to remain neutral during the dispute however, after Philip Amadeus had reached Providence with his army, Theodosia ventured to the capital with a small escort to swear fealty to the new emperor. After swearing fealty, she was welcomed among the rest of the peers of the realm and permitted to keep her current titles and honors.
