|
Kal'Nikaer is the current capital of the Dwarves, located beneath the mountains of northern Tahn. It's the most populous dwarven city, with numerous Elven denizens that arrived only recently. It was founded by the Dwarves fleeing Vailor and arriving on the Isles of Axios. The city itself is built above a large system of caves, passages and ruins known as the Deep roads.

- The Primarch of the Army: The Primarch (or grand marshal) is the head of the Legion, which serves as the guarding and police force of Kal'Nikaer.
- The Foreman General: The Foreman executes the orders of the upper council and physically oversees tax collection and construction in Kal'Nikaer'.

Nobility
Dwarven society is divided into various clans which can be drawn further into two separate groups, elder and commoner clans. Elder clans are direct descendants of Urguan's sons while the commoner clans are those who have either branched from one of the elder clans or have emerged from a mixed blood between two clans. Within society, clans act as brotherhoods that help dwarves ascend through the dwarven political scene and often provide food and housing for its members. Though not quite as divided as the human houses, dwarven clans tend to bear rivalries and grudges against one another, which can often lead towards bitter feuds and power struggles.
