The Mercatorii Revolutionary Armies, commonly known as the Mercatorii or the Men of the Infernal Clock, (Mercante: Mercatorii Armada Iraultzaileak ; Hyspanic: Ejércitos Revolucionarios Mercatorii) are a Human Radical Canonist Terrorist Organisation operating in Oren, Haense and Norland from the beginnings of the Second Era. The Mercatorii, although widely popularized for their ruthless methods of arson, were extremely devouted to Canonism and pursued the protection of clergymen and other church officials.

Mercatorii Traditions
The Infernal Clock & Mother Mercatore
The Infernal Clock is the most important tradition of the Mercatorii, holding significant importance in all actions of the Mercatorii. The Infernal Clock, in essence, is the thought of a hypothetical clock. This clock ticks forwards whenever substantial events occur, and when it hits twelve, the Mercatorii will have achieved their own State of Mercatore. Although it also represents other things such as: Perseverence, Determination and Revenge.
Mother Mercatore is a Mercatorii belief and tradition that believes in the holy protection of the Mercatorii by Mother Mercatore. Mother Mercatore, while a humble interpretation of the Mercatorii as a parental figure, is mostly only utilized for Mercatorii folk songs and poems.
Viva la Mercatorii, Erlojuak Mesede Egiten Digu, Mercatore!
(Viva la Mercatorii, The Clock Favors Us, Mercatore!)
The Mercatorii Salute
The Mercatorii Salute is a special salute utilized primarily by the Mercatorii in times of battle or when addressing officers. The salute, in action, is raising your hand up to your forehead, and only rise three fingers; the thumb, the index and the middle. These represent "Perseverence, Determination and Revenge". Alternatively, the action of doing the Mercatorii Salute can be named "Signing the Infernal Clock".

Mercante, or Mercatorii Savinian, is a Savinian dialect utilized mostly by the MRA. It is usually used in missives, communiqués, important documents, important conversations, folksongs, poems, battlecries, or by the overall Mercatorii. Mercante is hard to speak, mostly by its odd use of syllables, but it is pleasant to the ear when a skilled Mercatorii speaks its.
(OOC: Basque)
Hyspanic is the second most common Mercatorii tongue, after Mercante but more so than Common, and is used by a sizeable minority in the MRA. It is used mostly by those residing in Hyspia or Sutica. It, as Mercante, is used mostly for conversation and important documents.

Historical Eras
The First Hour
The First Purge
Almaris had been the residency of the House of ein Ariskiy, a small country family residing in the far edges of Oren. The ein Ariskiy family valued a small family tradition, that which of the Infernal Clock, which would mark the creation of a state for the Mercatorii whenever the clock hit twelve. Alexsei ein Ariskiy and Helvetia ein Ariskiy - the two eldest sons and only remnants of the family - would go on to pursue their subtle dream with the Mercatore Investigation and Security Counseling, a security and private investigator company to earn a spare coin.
Yet, in 1801 disaster struck. When members of the Security Counseling were having a lunch break while uniformed, a group of Imperial State Army soldiers approached and engaged the mostly unarmed men. This would be known as The First Purge, and define the Mercatorii way of life for the next decade, deciding to take matters into actions of arson rather than negotiation as intended.
The Orenian Inferno Period
1802 would mark the beginnings of the Mercatorii Inferno Period. This seven year period (1802-1809) would categorize many carriage, shop and building arsons, as well as murders and robberies. Many carriages would fall victim to these arsons, causing massive property damage.
Finalizing the Inferno Period came the 1809 Burning of the House of Commons in Providence, one of the greatest terrorist strikes the city would withstand. Leaving civilians and officers of the Imperial State Army devastated alike, the Burning of the HoC would lead on to be one of the most scarring MRA events, and one of its largest operations.
The Sedan Rebellion
Sedan Rebellion Page: Sedan Rebellion
1811 would show a decisive downturn to the Mercatorii, as of recent events the Principality of Sedan had declared independence from the Holy Orenian Empire causing a window of instability amidst the Anti-Orenian leagues and syndicates.
The Second Purge
1813 would mark the end of the Mercatorii First Hour. A Forward Operating Base located in Providence, used mostly for storage and planning, was located and raided by Ministry of Justice officers. The Mercatorii Head of Operations, Mikhael Schiewart, was arrested alongside some Junior Agents, allowing the remnant Mercatorii Senior Staff to escape. This would show the end of the First Hour, and of the first MRA.
The Second Hour
Order 36
Norland-Oren Conflict Page: Norland-Oren Conflict
The 22nd Year of the Second Age would strike the beginning of the Norland-Oren Conflict, in which the Holy See of Providence would find itself at battle with the Kingdom of Norland.
Due to this, the MRA Senior Staff member Milo ein Klaus deemed it fit to send a missive to all remaining MRA members to side with the Orenians in the war - which would be answered by a grand force, including the new MRA Leader Markus Sesslen.
This would lead to a full revamp of the MRA. Milo ein Klaus being granted the ability to influence further in the structuring and administration of the MRA, and Markus Sesslen being a far relative of the ein Ariskiy family, lead to the MRA staying true to the original Mercatorii culture Mikhael Schiewart had discarded. Mercante, the Mercatorii dialect of Savinian, was officialized and recognized as the true language of the MRA.
Battle of Outer Arentania
Battle of Outer Arentania Page: Battle of Outer Arentania
The 25th Year of the Second Age would mark the Battle of Outer Arentania, where Norlandic forces found themselves invading the Orenian region of Outer Arentania. As per Order 36, a force of 200 Mercatorii veterans were tasked with aiding the Orenians in protecting their lands to further ensure the safety of the Holy See.
With menial casualties, not only the MRA but the combined forces of the Metinan Company and the Imperial State Army diverted the Norlandic forces out of Outer Arentania. This was the first great Mercatorii victory in battle alongside the Orenian, and marked a resurgance of the organization.
The Norlandic Inferno Period
As part of the Norland-Oren Conflict, and per Order 36, the MRA began their second "Inferno Period" in which similar tactics to the first Inferno were utilized. For example, several bombings to Leumont and Urguan, and brandings of Norlandic citizens. MRA agents would be kept busy until the end of the war with the surrender of the Norlandic forces.
