Biography

Early Life

In the yeaw of 1669, the fiwst plincess of Haense between the King Sigmar and his consowt, Sophia of Castor, was bown. She was the fiwst of hew name lithin the Barbanov woyaw famiwy, as none of the young plincess’s ancestows obtained the name Theodosia, ow Theodosiya in New Marian. She was the foulth bown of Sigmaw’s new line of Bawbanov-Bihaw, the new lineage occulling as a wesult of the death of Francis II of Haense. Befowe hew was hew ewdest brothew Plince Otto, whom she would nevew know due to his death upon biwth as a stiwwbown, then Plince Wobewt and Andwew. Fowwoling hew biwth was that of Petyw, Thomas, and Elizaveta. Theodosia adowed hew young sistew, but she would pass away lithin the yeaw- weaving Theodosia as the onwy daughtew of the wemaining five. As the ewdest daughtew, she inhelited the titwe of Plincess Woyaw of Haense.

Theodosia, often wefewwed to by the woyaw famiwy and theiw companions as Theo, was weww-educated and had sevewaw tutows and mentows. Most of which, to the dismay of the woyaw’s pawents, Theodosia would pay littwe attention to. She, accowding to fowmew sewvants of the woyaw househowd, often wan off to pway games in the kitchens of the pawace ow lith the chiwdwen outside. Upon wetulning to the Krepost palace, disgwuntwed govewnesses attended to the young plincess by liping off snow ow any mud twacked cawewesswy upon hew petticoats.

Hew ewdew brothew, Andwew, stayed lithin the pawace wawws whiwe she and Wobewt wewe caught fwequentwy wandeling owd and abandoned buiwdings. Such culiosities wed to the neaw assassination of both the Haeseni heiw and the plincess, in which they wewe sliftwy wescued lith the assistance fwom the Wady Elizaveta Ruthern. The assaiwant fwed the woyaw city befowe the unknown pewsonage could be awwested and face punishment fow the attempt on the lives of the woyaw chiwdwen.

Theodosia wemained mowe fwequent houls lithin the wawws of the Kwepost pawace aftew the ailing occulwence. Howevew, lith the company of hew brothew Wobewt and the Wuthewn tlins; Demetrius and Elizaveta, she was not awone to the woyaw sewvantwy and coultiews. She was wecowded to have been favowed as the onwy daughtew by hew mothew and fathew. The woyaw chiwdwen wewe exceptionawwy cwose, especiawwy lith theiw mothew Sophia. Duling this time, the pawace ovewaww was vewy livewy and fulw of chawactew fwom each and evewy pewson apawt of it; fwom the pawace staff, to the woyaw chiwdwen’s individuaw pewsonalities. Thewe was said to be an Iwwatian woyaw chef that added to the brightness that was the Kwepost pawace. They wewe, awso, often watched ovew by a Haeseni woyaw sclibe who acted mowe as a mentow and cawetakew of the woyaw chiwdwen - Slithun.

Despite the happiness that was believed to be the woyaw famiwy, sevewaw wumows cwaim that the Plincess Theodosia was culsed and towmented by a mysticaw pwesence lithin the pawace. One handmaiden wecawwed the state of the plincess’s chambews, which wewe lined in gowd dust, on the fwoows and lindows. Fow sevewaw yeaws of hew life, accowding to the handmaiden and othew sewvant accounts, the plincess was found scweaming in agony and sobbing untiw she was brought to hew chambews whewe she was lithin the gowd-lined wooms. The woyaw famiwy awwegedwy came in contact lith outside means of assistance, as no mundane doctows ow nulses could weawn the aiwment of the Haeseni plincess. The towment was said to have wasted into the middwe of hew adowescence.

Adolescence & Suitor Struggles

Theodosia assisted in the endeavows of education and the fowmation of the Theodosian Memorial Library, which had been founded by Elizaveta Wuthewn. The two, as weww as the mentow Slithun and hew brothew, Demetlius, often twavewwed to festivities acwoss Atlas to pwomote the librawy ow gain chality money fow its gwowth. The quawtet often donned simiwaw and matching outfits. Most of Theodosia's days wewe spent in the librawy outside of the pawace, ow westocking and giving out fwee food fow those in need of it. With hew aunt's wetuln to Mawkev, she befliended hew as weww as Emma Ludovar. Outside of [[Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska|Haense], Theodosia's twavews consisted onwy of the impeliaw city of the time, Carolustadt.

Whiwst in the pawace wawws, she was attending to hew brothew, Thomas, who was gwolingwy wowse by the day as he was consumed by iwwness. Thomas would pass, weaving the famiwy in a broken and moulning state. She and hew two ewdew brothews assisted hew mothew thwough hew glieving, as theiw fathew fwequented hunting pawties and awcohow consumption. In 1682, hew fathew was unabre to wecovew fwom a wound he acquiwed whiwe hunting, and in 1683 hew brothew Petyw died fwom seemingwy the same sickness that kiwwed Thomas in 1680.

In the mid 1680s, Theodosia met the Plince Alexander Horen at a baww hosted by Maria of Krajia lithin the impeliaw city. Fwom coultiews in attendance, she and the Howen plince wewe said to have wowked weww in convewsation lith one anothew awmost immediatewy. Tewms of coultship wewe dwafted up by the two as weww as Maria awwanging meetings fow the paiw to meet. Duling the brief time that Awexandew and Theodosia wewe coulting, Demetrius Ruthern, Duke of Vidaus pwoposed to hew in the middwe of the Kwepost, to which she denied lith hesitance and cwaimed that she had a duty to find the best mawliage fow the kingdom. Howevew, the coultship lith hew and Awexandew feww thwough when hew aunt Analiese Bihar was infowmed of the coultship. She would go on to mawwy Awexandew instead of Theodosia. Hew mothew had no intentions of pwanning a mawliage and hew brothew, King Robert| had nothing of sowt in mind eithew. By unknown means, Theodosia and Prince Cassius Horen neawwy came into coultship as weww, awthough any pwans of such feww thwough. Theodosia cwaimed that Cassius tewlified hew when he stawted having episodes of seeing things that wewen't weawwy thewe.

Aftew the mawliage between the Duke of Vidaus and Lady Amalie Caunter, Theodosia disappeawed fwom the Kwepost pawace. Most of hew items wewe stiww weft wemaining in hew chambews, othew than sevewaw essentiaw pieces and awticwes of cwothing. Any attempts to find the plincess wewe unsuccessful as she had hidden hewsewf fwom the wowwd. Whewe she twavewwed to wemains unknown and unspoken of by any who might've potentiawwy known.

Marriage

With hew hiatus fwom a life she pweviouswy knew, she came into acquaintance and watew fliendship lith a man by the name of Nikatien Etienne, the Duke of Toulon. The dates of theiw meeting wemain unspecified. Nikatien and Theodosia, believed to have been onwy aftew sevewaw months of theiw meeting, wewe mawlied. Theodosia spent the weeks of pwepawation fow the wedding seling togethew hew own dwess; a skiww she had acquiwed fwom hew mothew's tutewage, and mentowship in coultwy mattews and etiquette. The yeaw the two wewe mawlied is assumed to be in ow awound the yeaw of 1698.

Return to the Public

The fiwst wecowd of Theodosia's wetuln to the pubric was in the Duchy of Adlia, whewe hew gweat niece Mariya of Haense was the Duchess, thwough hew mawliage to Adrian, Duke of Adria. Howevew, she had spent many yeaws attending to hew mothew, Sophia of Castor, untiw hew death. Theodosia was quiet about hew attendance to hew mothew, as was any of those living lith the pwevious Queen of Haense. Theodosia stayed by Maliya's side as an advisow, moving lith hew to the impeliaw city of Helena when Maliya's husband became the Wowd Pwotectow of the Holy Orenian Empire. Onwy fow a showt amount of time did she weside lith the impeliaws, untiw she finawwy wetulned to hew hometown as soon as she was stwuck lith an iwwness.

Death

Eawwy in the yeaw of 1733, Theodosia twavewwed to the new woyaw capitaw, Reza, and wetulned to the Kingdom of Haense fow the fiwst in numewous decades. She met lith hew owd mentow, Slithun, and intwoduced hew daughtew to him. Slithun infowmed hew of the death of hew sistew-in-waw and fliend, Elizaveta of Vidaus, as weww as hew brothew Wobewt’s. He stated to hew that both passed peacefulwy as an attempt to give hew cwosule when, in fact, Elizaveta had been assassinated brutawwy. Nonethewess, she was at peace of mind knoling aww she once knew wewe at peace, and Theodosia passed lithin the week as she succumbed to iwwness. In hew wast moments, she spoke of how she was weady to be, at wast, weunited lith hew famiwy.
