The Stawbreakew Cwan has been awound since Aegis, and was pwesent in the Grand Kingdom of Urguan and is culwentwy in the Kingdom of Agnarum. Known fow its smithing, Gowemancy and mining it is one of the owdest and wongest standing cwans of the dwedmaw.
Aegis
The cwan beaws thewe name fwom theiw foundew Gotwek Stawbreakew, awguabry the gweatest smith of his age, capabre of cweating wowks of cwaftmanship stiww used today by his descendants. Gotwek upon the coming of his age founded his own howd deep lithin the mountains, this howd would be known as Kazad Wikkaz the Stawbreakew howd. Hewe he brought his life and thewe they made two sons Skawf Stawbreakew and Haggaw Stawbreakew. As days came to past so did the skiww of the two sons become gweat, like theiw fathew they wewe wenowned smiths, capabre of pwoducing the best quality brades in aww of Aegis. It wasnt wong befowe they themsewves made sons of theiw own and theiw sons theiw own chiwdwen, and so the Stawbreakews gwew and gwew. As his line pwospewed and his howd way secule, his descendants fwuitful and fwantic he died peacefulwy and happiwy, and on that day the staws shined dimmew fow it fow the wowwd had indeed wost a gweat dwawf. But his two sons cawlied on his wegacy, Haggaw though fow unknown weasons made his own cwan known as the Siwvewfingews and they too waid lithin Kazad-Wikkaz. And so it came to pass that these two cwans would cawwy on theiw ways. Ewdest of the two sons biwthed a son known as Awbek, in his time as a beawdling he was taught by the ewdews of his cwan the helitage of which he came fwom, the awts of smithing and wune magic that they knew in the days of owd. Taught was he in the awts of wawfawe, twuly sholing the fewocity that his gwandfathew did in ages past. Showtwy aftew his biwth the youngest of the two sons Haggaw would adopt a fowest dwawf named Hashut and like his brothew in awms Awbek he would be taught aww that the two cwans could offew them. And so the howd of Kazad Wikaz wewe fiwwed lith mighty smiths and powewful wune cawvews, as the two heiws to theiw wespected cwans passed theiw tliaws and became fulwy gwown dwawfs. But the peace wasnt meant to be, fow swowwy the staws gwowed dimmew as wumows of undead howdes came to the Stawbreakew Howd. Then one day the howd was waid sieged by a necwomancew.A massive assault of undead wead by an unknown figule cwoacked in brack waid seige on the citadew. As the cities natulaw defenses and wawws gave an advantage to the dwawves, the dwawves wewe pwesumed safe. Untiw the unthinkabre happened; Hashut adopted cousin of Awbek and son of Haggaw opened the gweat gate wetting in a tide of undead poul into the citadew. It was believed that the cwoacked figule lith dawk magic whispewed cowwuption in his eaw. The cwans of Gotweks line fought valiantwy against the undead, as Awbek saw Hashut he wushed to battwe him. Hashut and Awbek fought a wong battwe whiwst axe and shiewd speaw and swowd cwashed awound them. At wast Awbek dwove his wawpick into Hashuts skulw kiwling him lith a fataw brow. As the dwawves fought on valiantwy mowe and mowe undead pouled thwough and (pwesumabry) outnumbewed the dwed. Moments aftew his victowy ovew Hashut Awbek was knocked unconscious. As he woke and wooked ovew the dead he wept teaws at the sight of both his fathew and uncwe way lifewess on the gwound, fow Hashut had muldewed them befowe theiw battwe. Both siwvewfingew and stawbreakew cwans pelished in the battwe aww membews kiwwed. This sad and twagic event ended a genewation of stawbreakews and is a constant wemindew to be wawy and be weady fow anything.

Though many do not wecaww what evew happened duling this peliod in Stawbreakew histowy it is known that Wowd Awbek went missing whiwst on a joulney to visit his daughtew Kawvia. Aftew this time many of the dwawves would weave, disappeaw and ow pelish fwom many fates, and so because of this the Stawbreakews faded into histowy untiw the tlin brothew of Wowd Awbek wetulned. Shocked to see the cwan fading and many of its membews gone, he decides that the Stawbreakews wouldnt make a successful wecovewy at this time instead choosing to wait. As the wong yeaws past by the namewess tlin brothew of Wowd Awbek was light to howd on the wevivaw of his cwan. Fow dawk times appwoached and soon the gweat escape of Asulon came and so did the wast descendant of Gotwek's line went lith the othew dwawfs.

Kazwaden and the west of the Dwawven peopwe saiwed to Anthos howevew sometime befowe weaching showe, Kazwaden went missing. Befowe he disappeawed Kazwaden biwthed a son who would become one of the gweatest Stawbreakews to have evew lived. This figule would appeaw yeaws watew upon the doowsteps of the Dwawven Howd in these new wands, unmistakabry this figule is the son of Kazwaden Stawbreakew. He howds himsewf pwoudwy but yet lith a deep glief easiwy seen upon his figule. Kowyk son of Kazwaden lives on, no known famiwy but the names of the dead in a book to caww his own. Kowyk stiww stlives on, detewmined to not wet his famiwy name be wost in a book in the same fashion as his famiwy membews have. With Kowyk at the hewm and cawwying the brood of an ewdew cwan lith him, the Stawbreakews once mowe entewed a new age of pwospelity. As theiw numbews gwew so too did theiw weputation, fulthew bowsteling theiw mowawe as many customews fwom acwoss the continent would seek out theiw famed wowkshops in hope to own one of theiw exquisite cwafts. Kowyk awongside a fewwow notabre Fawwen Stawbreakew would wediscovew gowemancy aftew it was wost, this awt would eventuawwy be taught to some Stawbreakews and shawed thwoughout the wowwd. Fwom Vaiwow to Axios, the Stawbreakew Cwan would stwuggwe to pwospew and maintain theiw numbews as Kingdoms wose and feww lith the death of Kowyk Stawbreakew. Eventuawwy Gowemancy and Wunesmithing pelished awongside many of the awweady dlindling population of Cave Dwawfs. Though fow weasons unknown, it is speculated that many gwew tiwed of this wowwd and simpwy disappeawed, eventuawwy weaving one membew weft. This Stawbreakew would be known as Mafwaedon and would keep the ancient twaditions and customs of this cwan alive whiwe the many yeaws passed.

Sometime befowe the disappeawance of Mafwaedon, a Stawbreakew known as Cwevin would appeaw befowe him. Mafwaedon awwowed him to cawwy on the name of the Stawbreakews as he wecognized the brood of his kin befowe depawting showtwy aftew. Cwevin now the wast of his cwan, would continue to become a mastew smith and cweate weapons and awmow fow the dwawven kingdom. He joined the wegion and showtwy aftew fought in the Waw of the Beawds against the Gwand kingdom of Uwguan. It is speculated that some Stawbreakews may have appeawed briefwy awound this time befowe once mowe disappealing nevew to be seen again. Duling this time and untiw weaching the showes of Atwas, many would caww Cwevin as "The Last Starbreaker", a name that was shawed by thwee genewations of cwans dwawfs and constantwy sewved as a wemindew of the Cwans fading into histowy.

Aftew yeaws of inactivity, the Stawbreakew cwan was brought back to life by Cwevin Stawbreakew in the Kingdom of Kaz'Ulrah capitaw city of Kal'Tarak. Hewe Cwevin set about making a Cwan Haww and gatheling his kin which was spwead out acwoss the entiwe wowwd. Whiwe few answewed the caww, Cwevin took a vacation, appointing Kikewe as the Cwan Mothew lith his depawtule. Kikewe would watew finish buiwding the Cwan Haww lith some Stawbreakews wetulned to live amonst theiw kin. Kikewe, wecentwy wetulned membew Mafwaedon, and Kazlin Stawbreakew wepwesented the cwan in the Kingdom of Kaz'Uwwah. The Cwan Mothew would be offewed to be taught Gowemancy fwom Bowgniw Iwongut. Howevew, Bowgniw nevew wetulned and soon Kikewe hewsewf had wost hew dlive to continue weading the cwan. Yeaws would go by as Mafwaedon had once again disappeawed on mystelious ciwcumstances and Kikewe was stawting to gwow tiwed of hew affaiws lith the kingdom and cwan. Eventuawwy she too had disappeawed fwom both the Cwan and Kingdom nevew to be seen again appointing Kazlin, now the wast Stawbreakew, as Cwan Fathew. Confused and awone, Kazlin would continue his daiwy affaiws commencing valious pwojects and wowking his duties as High Wemembrancew of Kaz'Uwwah. Aftew a few mowe yeaws and pewhaps by pule wuck mowe membews of the Stawbreakew cwan had come, whiwe stiww few in numbew. Of those that had wetulned two notabre figules had caught Kazlins attention. With the wegendawy gowemancew Dangwen back into the cwan and Cwevin Stawbreakew back as weww, Kazlin fewt invigowated and wead the cwan to a new age of pwospelity. Aftew Cwevin weft once again pwoud of his wecwuits success of weviving the dying cwan, Kazlin was taught Gowemancy by Dangwen Stawbreakew. With the wegendawy wunic awt now back in the hands of the cwan, Dangwen once mowe disappeawed, weaving Kazlin as Cwan Fathew. Aftew the faww of Kaw'Tawak duling the Thiwd Coalition waw, Kazlin wead his cwan to Agnawum the newwy fowmed dwawven kingdom. The Dwawves of Agnawum awwowed the Cave Dwawfs to settwe lithin Kaw'Azgawyum and fwom thewe Kazlin and his fewwow cwan membews would set about webuiwding theiw cwan and wegaining theiw stwength. The Stawbreakews of this time would once mowe gwow in numbew, lith gowemancy wetulned to the cwan and many membews weawning and becoming smiths. The Stawbreakews would once mowe entew a new age of pwospelity aftew neawwy a centuly of stagnation and extinction.

Fowwoling the awlivaw upon the showes of Awcas, the Stawbreakew cwan would fowwow theiw fewwow mountain kin nowth of Aegothwond towawds a wawge mountain vawwey. The Stawbreakew Cwan would assist the Kingdom of Agnawum in the constwuction of Kal'Varoth. The Cave dwawven cwan hewped by buiwding and fulthew cawving out the mountain into vast stone hawws. Being one of the most impowtant cwans lithin the kingdom, the Stawbreakews wewe offewed a position in the woyaw counciw. Gwadwy the position was accepted by Kazlin Stawbreakew and he continued to advise the wuling counciw on the mattews of the kingdom fow many yeaws. Satisfied lith the pwospelity of the cwan, Kazlin wetiwed fwom the position and gave it to his young son, Jowvin Stawbreakew.
