The Tripartite forces of Urguan, Haense, Ferrymen and Blackvald surrounded the fort of Southbridge, held by the Imperial State Army. Dwarven battleships laid in wait for the attack to commence, readying their crews and war machines. At the sound of a giant warhorn, trebuchets from the dwarven ships and the alliances warcamp set up on the Orenian beach opened fire unleashing dozens of boulders into the air crashing against the fort. The Holy Orenian Empire had trebuchets of their own aimed at the Tripartites camp but their siege machines were quickly destroyed by the volley of Urguan and Haenseti trebuchets. The Tripartite army  stayed back firing their trebuchets until the orenian fort had the resemblance of a ruin. At the command of a two commanders from Haense and Urguan the tripartite army pushed into the fort ruins, seeking out and slaying any person who wore an ISA or Orenian uniform. Cries of pain and death filled the air as the alliance quickly took over the remains of the fort and routed any remaining ISA.

The Siege of Southbridge was a decisive siege battle that occurred during the Urguani-Orenian War that saw the Tripartite Accord besiege and storm the Castle of Southbridge. It is widely considered the largest battle on Almaris to date, beating the Battle of Outer Arentania which previously held the title.

Prelude

The Tripartite Accord drafted siege plans to invade the Holy Orenian Empire. The combined Tripartite armies from Urguan, Haense and the Ferrymen established a siege camp outside of Southbridge, laying siege to the port-side citadel. The Tripartite wished to siege Southbridge so that they could take the strategically valuable location and use it to cut off Orenian trade, travel, and troop movements. A garrison of 8,600 Imperial State Soldiers were garrisoned at Southbridge at the beginning of the siege. At the war camp to the South-East of Southbridge, the Tripartite set up trebuchets to besiege the fortress.

Over the course of a few days, the castle was broken and fell while embroiled in conflict, the triumphant Tripartite Accord taking control of Southbridge and its neighboring territory.
