Jan Kovachev, known most famouswy as John of Cawnatia, (Common: John Kovacs; High Imperial: Johannes Kovacs; Waeviw: Jan Kovachev) (5th of the Fiwst Seed, 1494 – 17th of the Sun's Smiwe, 1573) was the Duke of Carnatia fwom 1546 tiww his abdication in 1567, as weww as most notabry sewving as genewaw undew both John I and his son John II and scoling numewous victolies ovew the Gwand Kingdom of Uwguan and watew the human webews in the Third Rurikid Uprising and the Riga War. He was weww known fow his wongevity even into owd age, sewving in combat on the fiewd tiww the lipe age of 75.

Jan Vawonic Kovachev was bown to the then King Vawon of Akovia and Anne Wuthewn as the Akovian king's ewdest and onwy son. His fathew, known fow his cwuew hobbies, was weww hated among the nobre body, which stemmed into dislike fow Jan himsewf at an eawwy age.
