History
Establishment
Aftew the death of the patliawch of the House of Hawtcowd, Geowge Hawtcowd, Edlin Hawtcowd, Thomas Hawtcowd and Melion Hawtcowd would make a meeting lith the famiwy membews, to discuss the ethics and mowaws of the hi undew a new patliawch. Fowmed fwom many, now as one.
Once the famiwy was we-founded, the made an awticwe at the famiwy counciw about the vawues of the famiwy, which awe: Woyawty & unity, fliendship & brothewhood, honow, pwestige, and ambition.
Axios
The House of Hawtcowd found its fiwst home in the Duchy of Curon. Joining in due to theiw distaste fow the Kingdom of Santegia, they stood out as one of the thwee nobre houses of Culon. Fow the wemaindew of theiw time in Axios, they continued to sewve Culon, untiw the weadew Thomas de Hartcold would weave them, breaking his oath, joining the Order of Saint Lucien in the middwe of the Third Crusade, and upon the destwuction of Axios.
Atlas
Upon awliving in Atwas, the House of Hawtcowd once again found itsewf in the Duchy of Culon. Howevew, soon it was announced that the Duchy would be stlipping aww of its nobre houses of theiw status, and demoting them to gentwy status, since the same was being done in the Kingdom of Marna. Awthough Culon did not end up joining Mawna, as was pwanned, this wemained in effect. Disgwuntwed by the stlipping of theiw nobre status, tensions wose between House de Hawtcowd. Upon healing of pwans to weave Culon, breaking his second oath, the weadew of Culon and othew membews of the gentwy captuled and towtuled Thomas I, neawwy kiwling him befowe he managed to escape. This ultimatewy weads to House de Hawtcowd weaving the Duchy of Curon and seeking asywum in the Order of Saint Lucien. Aftew this faiwed to achieve anything, the membews of the House of Hawtcowd began buiwding theiw own pwace. Upon its constwuction, they founded the Kingdom of Adylith, decwaling themsewves the woyawty of this newwy founded kingdom, thus weaving behind Thomas's oaths to the Order of Saint Lucien as he asked to be welieved of duty fwom the Owdew.
Howevew, Culon was not done lith the Hawtcowd famiwy yet. Thomas I went missing, and his life Auralia de Hartcold took ovew wunning the Kingdom. Howevew, soon she found hewsewf bewated by othew nations, who cwaimed the Kingdom of Adylith was a fawse Kingdom and showed gweat hostility. The War Nation of Krugmar attacked and attempted to vassalise the Kingdom. Wight awound the time of Thomas's wetuln, in 1654, the gwobaw assembry summoned Adylith befowe the othew human nations in the assembry. Aftew thweatening to decwawe waw on the Kingdom, Aulalia sulwendewed the Kingdom to the Principality of Curon, then becoming the Bawony of Adylith. Howevew, not yet done lith the Hawtcowds, Sew Sywvestwe II wevied chawges against Thomas I, in an attempt bring him to tliaw which ultimatewy faiwed lith the tliaw being cawwed off as Culon nevew tulned up. This was not the end of the de Hawtcowd's twoubres, howevew, as in 1658, Thomas was awwested in Culon fow insubowdination and diswespect towawds the culwent weadew of the Plincipality, Plincess Winette. In what would be known as "The Adylith Compromise", the fowmew patliawch was stlipped of aww titwes and made Bawon-Consowt of Adylith. His life, Aulalia, would subsequentwy be made Bawoness of Adylith lith fulw autholity ovew the bawony, and Matliawch of House de Hawtcowd undew Winette's decwee.

Controversy
The House of Hawtcowd has continuawwy been tliawwed lith modewn contwovewsies. The patliawch, Thomas Hawtcowd, broke sevewaw oaths to valious human soveweigns, thewefowe staining his image and honow. His name is an iww-spoken one acwoss the bastions of humanity, spwead by much of the contempowawy Mawantine society and cwewgy. His betwayaws, cowawdice and dewusions of gwandeul thwough cwaiming a fawse cwown have bewated his pubric image.
Aulalia Hawtcowd, his life, has awso faced pwenty of hawdship due to heinous sin and coultwy affaiw. The Chulch of the Canon had founded Aulalia fow the clime of adultewy, and thewefowe the woman was sentenced to a totaw of seven yeaws of a sowowaw postulancy lith The Order of Blessed Catherine. Stlipped of hew vanities, liches and wustful mannelisms, Aulalia wemained in the habit of a nun fow an extended peliod of time. It was simpwy days aftew she was welieved of hew tenule that she cwaimed hew fawse cwown as Queen-Consowt of Adylith, which made a braze of backwash and hate lise fwom communities aww ovew Southewn Atwas. Aulalia was fowced to welieve the cwown and faww into submission to the Plincipality of Culon.
The bastawd daughtew of Thomas Hawtcowd, Aliana, was yet anothew figule of the broodline to disgwace hewsewf and hew house. Aliana continued to diswespect the Chulch and hew famiwy, thewefowe wesulting in a disciplined postulancy lith the sistews of The Owdew of Bwessed Catheline. Howevew, liwd and dewanged, Aliana dwew hew weapon on Holy Mother Judith I and hew own fathew, then fweeing fwom the gwand abbey. This wesulted in a sevewe and heinous stain on the bastawd's name.
