Free City of Ulyssa

The Free City of Ulyssa was the rumored political domain created by Philip III and Anastasia I off the coast of Almaris during their hiatus from the Holy Orenian Empire between the years 1836 and 1849. Many notable Imperial Princes, Princesses, and mercenaries of the 19th century have claimed to hail from there. Despite this, further information regarding the city is shrouded in mystery as only a handful of people have traveled to and from the land. This has led to the city widely being regarded to have existed on the continent of Aeldin despite Philip’s adamant beliefs that Aeldin does not actually exist. After the dissolution of the Holy Orenian Empire, the Free City fell into decay and anarchy before being reconquered in 1939 by Richard Leonus Novellen, the great-grandson of Philip III.
