Henrik Otto also known as Henry I, (16th of Malin's Welcome, 1662–Present) called the Able or The Old Crow, of the House of Ludovar, was the third Duke of Kvasz under the rule of Ludovar following after the trial and death of his cousin, Jakob Ludovar. He was the eldest child and only son to Jakob Ludovar and his wife Theresa Vyronov as well as being the great-uncle to the Queen-Consort of Haense, Milena of Adria. Before his time as Duke, he was previously made Baron of Lizat by his cousin and the King of Haense as an award for his effort in assisting the King and his cousin with various issues.
+
Fredrik Aleksandr also known as Fredrick I (WIP), of the House Ludovar, is Count of Otistadt. He is the eldest son of Baron Aleksandr of Rostig-Otistadt and Sofiya Baruch who was proclaimed as Count of Otistadt by Emperor Peter III due to his great success on building his own levy company and defending the lands of Empire.

Early life
Henrik Otto Ludovar was born to Jakob Ludovar and Theresa Vyronov in the city of Markev in the year of 1662. He was tutored both combat and politics by Lord Otto Ludovar who was his uncle before he was later sent to Aeldin, becoming a ward under a Duke at the age of ten.
+
Fredrik Aleksandr Ludovar was born to Aleksandr Ludovar and Sofiya Baruch within the Ludovar manor in New Reza within the year of 1707. Growing up he had become quite close to his father though more so his mother as his father wasn't around much within his life. Despite this his existence would be quite unknown until he had reached the age of ten where he was able to stroll around in the city with his mother in New Reza and the city of Helena. While he had visited cities and towns he had began to take note within them as he had grown some interest in potentially having his own town where he could manage its houses and events.

In the year 1681, he would return to Atlas after nine years since his departure to Aeldin. Henrik would become very unfamiliar with the place only remembering very little of it though would be embraced with a welcome by his family for his return. After a few months, he would receive a letter at his doorstep of an invitation to the Royal Ball that was going to be held in the city of Markev for a noble lord to win the hand of the Princess Analiese of Haense. He would ignore the opportunity to attempt to win the Princess's favor as he was instantly put in betrothal to Lady Alana Grimm by his cousin, Emma. As the day of the ball arrived and his betrothal not being present he would come across by a woman named Hulda who resided in Arberrang, a Haense estate up north of Markev.
+
Once he had reached the age of twelve, his father would assign him to become a student or ward under Erik Othaman, the Exchequer of War, where he would observe how the Haense military operates, join its practices, and learn its tricks on its recruiting process. A year later, Fredrik would become Baron of Rostig-Otistadt after his father's death in 1761.

After two years had passed, Henrik would later lose his betrothal with Lady Alana due to miscommunication as the betrothal wasn't a regular marriage but a matrilineal one, she'd later marry Alfred Rubens, Baron of Leeuwenhof after the break of the betrothal. This would lead to a split in the Ludovar family at the time between him and his cousin, Emma. Due to this, he would be disowned by her though this issue would later be resolved by the Lord Palatine, Prince Robert-Sigismund. Henrik would slowly befriend King Robert due to family dinners he had held as well as his ambitions at the time. The friendship would lead to him being chosen as well as Hans de Ruyter and Dominic Grimm's knighthood being named the first and only Knights of Bihar.

Within the year of 1689, Ser Henrik would join a raid that was organized by the Lord Marshal against the Haeseni vassal Arberrang due to its rumors of possible rebellion. As the raid became successful it was later stopped by Torsten Rosik, the Earl of Nordengrad, upon receiving a raven which would lead to his almost capture within the engagement. After the treasonous act of Nordengrad attacking Haense, the end result would be the start of the Third Atlas Coalition War. Throughout the war, Henrik would fight in almost every battle but the Siege of Arberrang due to his injuries he had suffered through the Siege of San'Kala. After their victory, Ser Dominic Grimm would disappear leading his titles to be handed back to Ludovar once again to the now new Duke of Kvasz, his cousin Jakob, though he would instead give the title to Henrik for his actions within the Third Atlas Coalition War and his success.

Baron of Otistadt
Upon being granted the title of Baron of Lizat he sought to achieve his dream of being a politician, intending to run in the upcoming election for a seat in the Imperial Parliament in the year 1693. He decided to run for Common Civic Party, and faced as his primary opponent a man named, Fabius Bracchus, a Hansetic man who had formed the Imperial Parliament. Despite Fabius' great status of being a great and better politician, through his many speeches in Markev, Heinrik slowly began to seem like a true match for Fabius, who was doing very little work in his campaign. The election would end in a tie at fifty percent each for the two, becoming the first-ever tie in an Imperial Parliament election. The tie-breaker vote came towards his dear friend, King Robert, who voted against Heinrik despite their friendship. Nevertheless, Heinrik was granted the position of Lord Temporal within the Imperial Parliament due to his performance in the 1693 Election.
+
The title Baron of Otistadt was bestowed upon Frederick I by his Majesty, Sigismund II, King of Hanseti-Ruska. He earned this title through his military service as the Leader of the Ludovar Company. He was given the title by Sigismund II, King of Hanseti-Ruska during the time when the Emperor and the King were arguing about who should be able to give Nobility in Haense. Frederick only had this title for a few years though, as the King decided to give in and comply with the Emperors request. This lead all the Haensemen, including Frederick who were given Nobility during the disagreement to have their titles revoked as they were no longer valid.

In 1696, Heinrik wed Lady Kattarina Stafyr. It was a happy marriage, and they would go on to have three children together in total. In the year 1705, Henrik arrived in the new land of Arcas, where he assisted in the building of Reza as well as continuing his duties as a knight and as a Kingsguard. On the 14th of the Sun's Smile, 1707 his cousin, Duke Jakob Ludovar, was be put on a trial in an event that would come to be known as the Ludovar Trial, resulting in the loss of the titles of Principality of Ulgaard as well as the County of Mondstadt. Jakob's remaining title, the Duchy of Kvasz, was inherited by Heinrik, as for he was Jakob and his wife, Lady Elizabeth Preussens, had no children.

Duke of Kvasz
+
----
In the year 1708, a year since Henrik had become Duke of Kvasz, his old friend Ser Dominic Grimm returned after thirteen years since his departure after the Third Atlas Coalition War. Upon his arrival in Reza, the latter asked Heinrik for the return of the Barony of Lizat, which Henrik denied as he wished for King Marius II to settle the issue lawfully instead. Two months would pass until the king had summoned the two in throne room to settle the issue privately, resulting in the return of the title to Ser Dominic. Despite the recent dispute between them, they would rekindle their friendship, forming some sort of alliance between the two and their families.

Count of Otistadt
 +
The title Count of Otistadt was bestowed upon Frederick Ludovar in the year of 1777. He received this title due to his service to the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska, and the Holy Orenian Empire. Upon receiving this title, he was also given Johnstown and a Knightly title by the Emperor. Once the land was given to him he started his restoration efforts of Johnstown, he started by renovating parts of the town. Once the buildings were renovated he started to work on administration. He allowed houses to be available for people to live in, started the tavern back up, and ran various events to encourage others to move into Johnstown as well as bringing joy to the citizens.

After three years of him being Duke, Heinrik then begin to work with the current Lord Palatine, Leopold Stafyr, on finding a location to build his duchy. Though the two would struggle to find such due to the tensions rising between the Curon and the Haense due to border dispute as the Archduchy of Pembroke had settled north of Haense's capital. Luckily the tensions faded between the nations as it ended with the treaty of the Warwick Resolution . Even though the tensions were gone the two had struggled to make progress due to their schedules that they had. When Emperor Antonious I dissolved the Empire of Man the Nenzing Conspiracy had then come to light, though Henrik was unknown of the conspiracy until the year 1715 which was when it was revealed. Henrik approved of the conspiracy to which he would join to support his King as well as the new Emperor, Joseph I.

----
Even though the last Emperor of Man dissolved the Empire of Man relinquishing all vows made to it the former Imperials within the city of Helena would crown their own Emperor, Godfrey Horen, enforcing for all those that previously served under the Empire of Man to now serve under the newly formed Empire of Renatus even though its former major vassals declared its support for Joseph this would result into the War of Two Emperors. During the war, Henrik remained with his family when he could, although he would end up spending most of his days defending the King as well as fighting in four of the major conflicts in the war.

After years of war and suffering a defeat, the war came to an end allowing Henrik to focus on building up his duchy. However during the war, he had a change of heart regarding his ambition of gaining a piece of land for his family and his duchy. Upon scrapping the idea of building the Duchy of Kvasz on land he'd turn his attention into getting his youngest son, Maric Ludovar, a noblewoman from Aeldin. Henrik would accompany his youngest son sailing towards Aeldin, a place he hasn't seen since his departure there at the age of nineteen. Luckily he would come to success as he'd return to Arcas with his son along with his new wife a daughter to the Baron of Salma of House Raven.
+
Master of Johnstown
 +
After Fredrick's successful taking of the hamlet town of Johnstown, the citizens of the region immediately recognized his strength and power. They declared him the "Master" of Johnstown, giving him a title that reflected his dominant position over the town.

Upon his success of gaining his son a wife and finally solidifying his family that was close to extinction, he would be fully granted the manor in Reza that his family had shared with House Preussens, the family of his predecessor's wife, due to the new Countess of Österland bringing her family to back under the Imperials in Oren. At the time of Emperor Godfrey II's abdication and the accession of his younger brother, John VII. Henrik would yet again have to suffer through another war under the new Emperor's short reign that only lasted Three-Months due to John VII's abdication in the year 1725. After his abdication, Adrian Sarkozic, would claim the empty Imperial throne to which Henrik along with the Kingdom of Haense would support due to his and its Carrion connections.
+
While it is unclear whether Fredrick was considered the Lord of the region, the fact that the townsfolk referred to him as simply "Fredrick" suggests that he may have humbled himself among them. This could be seen as a sign of his respect for the people of Johnstown, and his desire to be seen as one of them rather than a distant and unapproachable ruler.

After a few months, the Kingdom of Haense would support Adrian's decision of abdicating to the now Alexander II, Holy Orenian Emperor to which Henrik disagreed with at first though would later come to terms with the decision. As the year of 1729 began, tensions had risen much quickly between the Duchy of Adria, a Hansetic ally, and the Duchy of Lorraine due to Lorraine conspiring with a bandit group as well as banditing Adrians in the road. This would lead to the Adrians calling aid to rally against the people of Lorraine to perhaps end their bandit ways once and for all as the Emperor was too ill to do anything which Haense would answer. Henrik rallied with the Haense men riding with the Brotherhood of Saint Karl joining of with the Adrians camping outside the Lorraine foothold. After a day and a half of camping, the army had dispersed as they waited for the Imperials to interfere in hopes to put an end to Lorraine.
+
Despite this humble attitude, there is no doubt that Fredrick was the undisputed leader of Johnstown. Documents from the duma, or governing council, of the town refer to him as the Master, indicating that he held a position of authority and influence.

Upon Henrik's arrival back in the city of Reza after the dispute with Lorraine he had attended the Royal Duma before receiving word of his eldest son, Petyr, who had been suffering through the same illness as his mother had passed. His sons' death had impacted him very little due to his many experiences of death though upon the death, he had already revealed that his grandson, Aleksandr, was his true heir due to his son being unable to properly reign after him.
+
It is likely that Fredrick's rule over Johnstown was a prosperous and successful one. Under his leadership, the town may have experienced growth and development, with improvements to its infrastructure and economy. The citizens of Johnstown would have benefited from Fredrick's strong and capable rule, and they would have been grateful for the peace and stability he brought to their lives.

Death and Legacy
+
In the end, Fredrick's legacy as the Master of Johnstown would have been a lasting one. He would have been remembered as a powerful and benevolent ruler, who helped to bring prosperity and happiness to the people of the town.
Henrik had continued his duties as Kingsguard defending the King of Haense and his lands until one night on the 7th of The First Seed, 1730 within the Ludovar Manor in Reza he would pass away due to his old age.
+

Upon his death, he'd be known as the eldest Ludovar to live in their time, as well as, keeping the family alive after it had suffered from the Ludovar Trial that made a dent into the Ludovar family. Henrik is also remembered as the last Knight of Bihar of the three that started it during the reign of King Robert I.

Through his childhood, he was seen as smart and a bit too childish as a normal child. As time continued on he had then grown to sometimes have patience and take his time on things to finish or do things on his accord. Though as he had grown into his older age he had then became a bit less patient and sometimes can be snappy to those who begin to argue or waste his patience.
+
Through his childhood, he was seen as smart and witty often causing him to get into quite the mischief. As he matured and pursued his military desires he became a leader and an inspiration for many.

Early life

Fredrik Aleksandr Ludovar was born to Aleksandr Ludovar and Sofiya Baruch within the Ludovar manor in New Reza within the year of 1707. Growing up he had become quite close to his father though more so his mother as his father wasn't around much within his life. Despite this his existence would be quite unknown until he had reached the age of ten where he was able to stroll around in the city with his mother in New Reza and the city of Helena. While he had visited cities and towns he had began to take note within them as he had grown some interest in potentially having his own town where he could manage its houses and events.

Reign

Baron of Otistadt

Count of Otistadt

WIP

Master of Johnstown

After Fredrick's successful taking of the hamlet town of Johnstown, the citizens of the region immediately recognized his strength and power. They declared him the "Master" of Johnstown, giving him a title that reflected his dominant position over the town.

Despite this humble attitude, there is no doubt that Fredrick was the undisputed leader of Johnstown. Documents from the duma, or governing council, of the town refer to him as the Master, indicating that he held a position of authority and influence.

In the end, Fredrick's legacy as the Master of Johnstown would have been a lasting one. He would have been remembered as a powerful and benevolent ruler, who helped to bring prosperity and happiness to the people of the town.
