After his cousin Rennard retired from the position of High Steward in the year 1758, the Crown decided that Edvard was clearly the best choice to succeed him. During his time as High Steward, Edvard did wonders for the Kingdoms tax income, increasing it many times over. He was merciless in his endeavor to make the Kingdom money. Any who dared to not pay taxes were kicked out of their properties, and were left to roam the streets. Although this may seem like a terrible deed, it did indeed accomplish it's goal. Those who didn't pay taxes would be replaced by those who did. Those who paid late wouldn't pay late anymore or wouldn't pay as late because of fear of being evicted. Edvard evicted homeless shelters, holy men, and orphanages in his pursuit for money. Although he was merciless, he was also understanding and kind. If you paid late, as long as you had a good reason then he would extend the date before you had to pay your tax. Then in the year 1770, his Majesty Sigismund II, King of Hanseti-Ruska noticed Edvard's hard works and reformed his title to the Seneschal title in his Council Reforms.

Personality

Edvard is a man who prioritizes money above all and acts mainly with money in mind. He believes that if he makes money for himself, his family, and his Kingdom then it will bring him great happiness. Although no matter how much minas he makes, he is never satisfied. He cares so much about money, in the past he has evicted orphanages, homeless shelters, and more as they didn't pay tax. Although at times he can be nice, he always goes out of his way to help those who wish to move to the Kingdom of Haense and those who reside within the Kingdom.

Appearance

Edvard is a six foot tall man. He had black hair, although it seems to be turning a grey in his old age. The man also has a scruffy unkept beard, and blue eyes. Edvard can be seen wearing a few different outfits, although most of them are blue to show off one of the two family colours. The outfits he is most commonly spotted wearing are the families armor, which bares the Lorraine Cross or a white shirt with a blue coat.

The Tax Man Poem

This poem, called "The Tax Man" was written for Edvard in the year 1787. Although the name of the writer was lost over time.

The Tax Man,
Always got a plan.
Raise em up.
Fall em down.
Get the money.
Get the honey.
Money money money.
Tax man.
