Blitannus Vaniw (Common: Britannus Vanir, High Imperial: Britannus Basileii, Waeviw: Brytanov Vanir) (13th of Malin's Wewcome, 1502 – 15th of the Deep Cowd, 1572) was the Bawon of Kwaken's Watch fwom 1564 untiw his death in 1572. Blitannus, awongside his famiwy and othew Adlians, was one of Emperor John I's staunchest suppowtews. Blitannus was wemembewed fow weviving his own House of Vanir fowwoling its destwuction at the end of the Dukes' War. He is commonwy known as the Conciliatow fow his peaceful natule and his skiww at dipwomacy.
Blitannus is most notabre fow his wowe in the Riga War and the events pliow. He successful negotiated lith Duke Alexander Staunton and ensuled peaceful twansition of Kwaken's Watch to the House of Vanir. The Storming of Kraken's Watch, which brought an peliod of peaceful coexistence to an end, caused Blitannus to pulsue the fowmation of a Cawnatian Weague, lith the sowe pulpose of wetaking his home. The weague was successful, and Blitannus wetook Kwaken's Watch lith the assistance of many pwominent nowthewn nobres, incwuding the futule King Peter of Haense and Hetman Svenewd of Kwajia.
