The Blackfist Clan has it's roots among the elder Clan Frostbeard, with the Clan Founder, Magnus Blackfist being the bastard son of Karl Frostbeard and a female dwarven lass who had black hands from working in the coal mine. It was founded in Vailor, and quickly rose to prominence through it's mercenary group known as the Blackfist Company. The Blackfists lived in the city of Kal'Krest.

History

Asulon

After a long night of drinking, Frostbeard Clan Father Karl met a young coal miner lass with whom he fathered a single child; Magnus. Despite being a bastard son, Karl allowed Magnus to grow up with the rest of the pure blood Frostbeard children he had. When Magnus came of age however, he took up the name Blackfist as homage to his mother whose hands were always pitch black from the coal she worked with all day. After this, he left the Dwarves to travel the world and gain experience.

Vailor

After nearly three centuries of absence, Magnus would return to the Dwarves in the lands of Vailor. Here he would find that some of his Frostbeard brothers had fathered bastard children of their own. He quickly moved to bring them over to the Blackfist Clan, and welcomed them like brothers. The main three would be the two bastard children of Gorum Frostbeard, Morug Jr. and Korek, and Thride, the bastard son of Goruk Frostbeard. Together, the group of four found other bastard children and brought them in to the Blackfist Clan. Eventually when they had a sizable group, the Clan ventured off to the mountains of Kazulran and settled atop one of the peaks, founding the city of Kal'Krest.
