Ashwýn Sythaèrin was a scion of the Sythaerin Talonnii and the 41st Sohaer of the Silver State of Haelun'or. Prior to serving as Sohaer, Ashwyn served in both elSillumir in Haelun'or and the Celia'diraar in Celia'nor, making her a veteran of the Conquest of Nevaehlen and the Invasion of Ravenswood. Serving in both elSillumir and the Celia'diraar gave her a unique perspective among 'aherals as the feud between Haelun'or and Celia'nor continued to reach all time highs. This made her a controversial figure during her Sohaership as she tried to mend the divide between the two high elven states.

Under a Silver Gaze; (36 S.A. - 151 S.A.)

Born upon the isle of Almaris, in 36 S.A., Ashwyn Sythaerin was birthed into the Sythaerin Talonnii, a notable Talonnii within the Silver State of Haelun'or, made famous by its patriarchs, Silvos Sythaerin's, magical and scientific exploits. While great things were expected of the 'aheral, she was notably absent from Almaris due to the various wars that ravaged Karinah'siol. She, along with other scions of the Sythaerin Talonnii were rumored to have taken refugee among the sprawling human empires of the mainland. After the descendants joint-immigration to Aevos, Ashwyn made her debut at the call of her mal'maroonn, Sorcaril Sythaerin. Sorcaril summoned his kin back to the Silver State to join elSillumir, the state military. At the time, elSillumir was considered to be lacking battle-hardened warriors. Many of the soldiers training only stemmed from routine patrols of elCihi. Ashwyn immediately made her mark. She was assigned the number forty-six, to be referred to as while on duty and during a tournament hosted by the Silver State a week later, Ashwyn won by besting the current reigning champion of Haelun'or, Vularr Githrahel by throwing him off of the city wall. Many Officers of elSillumir frowned upon her trick but it set a public example of the militaristic might the Sythaerin Talonnii had to offer.

She continued to serve diligently within the guard until 147 SA. For years, Soracril had been whispering within the ear of the Sohaer at the time, Kolvar Uradir, trying to persuade the 'aheral to launch an invasion upon the Cove of Nevaehlen; a collection of mali'ames residing on the borders of the State. The Cove of Nevaehlen was generally disliked so much by the majority of Aevosi nations that it was considered an easy target and thus, Sohaer Uradir launched his infamous conquest. Fighting broke out instantly. Ashwyn attended the first battle, the Battle of Silver's Dawn with many members of her talonnii. The Battle of Silver's Dawn was an easy success, with the defenders of the Cove being cut down as they fled. The survivors were rounded up and escorted to the Silver Cells under the new Haelun'or capital of Tahn'miar. Under the orders of Kolver Uradir, no harm was to come to the captives. Though, those captives who behaved unfavorably towards their captors were given to Ashwyn to toss into the bubbling Volcano that sat in the middle of elCihi. Throughout the war, Ashwyn was estimated to kill between ten to twenty mali'ames alone by tossing them into the Volcano. This all occurred without the knowledge of the Silver Council. The Conquest of Nevaehlen concluded in 150 SA with the Siege of Nevaehlen. By this point, the Silver Army had reached the outskirts of the Nevaehlen capital and began preparing a camp. When the siege came, Ashwyn was assigned to a Special Operations squadron alongside her mal'maroonn's, Theveus and Sorcaril. Together they flanked around the city and distracted the defenders while the bulk of the army launched a heavy frontal assaults'. Within ten minutes, the capital had fallen to the Haelun'orian army. Upon this victory, Kolvar Uradir declared the creation of the Silver Empire. While this change was welcomed in by many, Ashwyn frowned upon this as she had always associated the idea of an Empire with the valahs. This new Empire didn't do her any favors either. Despite being one of the formost leaders in the Haelun'orian Vanguard during the war, the state seemed to forget about her contributions, leading her to resign from elSillumir and wander the isle of Aevos.

Legacy of the Starlands; (166 S.A. - 178 S.A.)

For fifteen years Ashwyn wandered astray, travelling across the Aevosi mainland from city to city. Eventually, she ended up in Vallange, the capital of the Commonwealth of the Petra where she met the likeminded Aquilan Glanaeri, a fledgling noble under the Principality of Celia'nor. She told him of her exploits in Haelun'or and their conversation soon spread as both Ashwyn and Aquilan found themselves being recruited to the Celia'diraar by Sylvin Cerusil. They were given Officer Commissions and appointed as Parirs, the elvish equivalent to Lieutenants. Ashwyn immediately noticed the dire state of the Celia'diraar. While it wasn't as empty as elSillumir, many diraar lacked formal training, and the current standing officers were hardly motivated to operate on their own ambitions. This would not stand. Ashwyn alongside Aquilan set to establishing numerous reforms. Their most successful of which was the company system. When diraar joined the Celia'diraar, they were assigned to one of five companies. Each company was overseen by a Parir who could spend more one-on-one time with the diraars in their company to ensure that they were properly trained. Ashwyn was placed in charge of the Second Company which she aptly named Kym'eria Company as a symbol of her own ambition.
