House of Haverlock
|
The House of Haverlock is a cadet branch of the Royal House de Joannes, having blood ties to the Principality of Sedan. The House of Haverlock was formed by Prince Louis Owyn de Joannes, who sought to make a name for himself and his descendants by striking out on his own. This was met with some controversy within the Principality of Sedan, and a scandal related to the legitimacy of Louis as the son of Frederick I, Prince of Sedan was stirred up by his nephew, Frederick II, Prince of Sedan. As a result, Louis left the Principality of Sedan permanently and settled within the United Kingdom of Aaun under the Alstion dynasty. The Family holds a small plot of land within the Crownlands, yet holds no official titles of their own.
