Prelude
After the Ferrymen's Betrayl of Urguan and Haense, the Tripartite felt it necessary to rid the Ferrymen Headquarters of Stone Tower from the lands of the Grand Kingdom and rallied a mighty force of Dwarves, Highlanders, and Orcs to accomplish this task.
Battle
As the Tripartite neared the valley Stone Tower dominated, they were met by the sight of a force of Ferrymen and Orenians who seemed eager for the violence. The Tripartite was happy to oblige and charged down from the mountains and a melee ensued. The fighting was bloody but soon the numbers of the Tripartite gave them the upper hand as the Ferrymen and their Orenian allies were driven into the tower. A grueling siege began with many sallies from the Ferrymen slowly whittling down at the Tripartite numbers. The Field Marshal of the Tripartite devised a plan where the best warriors would lay in wait in a tavern just down the road while the rest of the force feigned a retreat towards Orenian lands. As the plan sprung into action, the Ferrymen and Orenians took the bait and chased the main force past the tavern, then the trap was sprung and the Tripartite warriors leapt from the tavern and slaughtered a great number of Ferrymen and Orenians. The remainder of which that escaped the ambush retreated within Stone Tower.
Aftermath
A settlement was reached after the ambush that allowed the remaining Ferrymen and Orenians safe conduct to Orenian lands in exchange for the complete abandonment of Stone Tower which was subsequently burned to the ground.
