Simon Basrid was an Orenian statesman of the 18th century and head of the House of Basrid. In 1739 Simon Basrid took Peter Cardinal Helena's place as Archchancellor of the Holy Orenian Empire. For forty-four years Simon humbly served the empire, seeing it through many conflicts, most notably the Rubern War until he retired in 1783.
