The Tripartite Accord had previously drafted up plans to invade the Holy Orenian Empire after having already won many decisive battles against the Orenians. As a result, the combined Tripartite armies of Urguan, Haense, The Ferrymen, and many of Urguan's Vassal-States marched north to establish a siege camp at the castle of Southbridge. Southbridge was a very strategically important location, as it was the major entry point into the Holy Orenian Empire. Controlling Southbridge meant controlling trade and movement into Oren, and so to the Tripartite leadership it was crucial that the Castle be taken. Oren also understood the importance of holding the Castle, and had established a large garrison of 8,600 Imperial State Soldiers within Southbridge to repel any attempted assault. The Tripartite Accord marched north and, accompanied by the Urguani Navy, established a warcamp to the South-East of the Castle where it set up hundreds of trebuchets in preparation to bring down the Fort. Oren too had made its own preparations, and had brought in several Trebuchets of their own, yet not as many as the Tripartite.

The Siege of Southbridge was a decisive siege battle that occurred during the Urguani-Orenian War that saw the Tripartite Accord besiege and storm the Castle of Southbridge.

Prelude

The Tripartite Accord drafted siege plans to invade the Holy Orenian Empire. The combined Tripartite armies from Urguan, Haense and the Ferrymen established a siege camp outside of Southbridge, laying siege to the port-side citadel. The Tripartite wished to siege Southbridge so that they could take the strategically valuable location and use it to cut off Orenian trade, travel, and troop movements. A garrison of 8,600 Imperial State Soldiers were garrisoned at Southbridge at the beginning of the siege. At the war camp to the South-East of Southbridge, the Tripartite set up trebuchets to besiege the fortress.

Over the course of a few days, the castle was broken and fell while embroiled in conflict, the triumphant Tripartite Accord taking control of Southbridge and its neighboring territory.
