Road to Karosgrad
The Road to Karosgrad, sometimes called the Walk to Karosgrad was the ritual submission of Emperor Philip III, Empress Anastasia, and Prince Olivier II to High Pontiff Everard VI in 1850 following the Michaelite Schism. It involved the three sovereigns travelling by foot to the Haeseni capital of Karosgrad, where the Pontiff had taken refuge during the schism, to seek his forgiveness and the lifting of their excommunication.
