Officer Grudgebeard

Officer Grudgebeard also known as Sergeant Grudgebeard during times of war is the incumbent Sheriff of Kaz'Ulrah charged with maintaining justice in the Kingdom. He was born on an uncertain day to uncertain parents within the great Grudgebeard clan, though he has been the last living member of the clan for the past century or so. Grudgebeard is known for his stern attitude on justice, his legendary proficiency with ranged weapons and his affinity for redstone engineering which gave both the Grand Kingdom of Urguan and the Kingdom of Kaz'Ulrah a wide spectrum of contraptions.
History
The War on Drugs
Grudgebeard's modern prominence rose during the reign of Bastion Ireheart in the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, during the days descendants discovered the creation of various drugs. The denizens of the kingdom, under the unofficial leadership of Morug oz Brathmordakin, established various drug dens and parlours where they gave into their decadent urges.
During the time, however, the Grand Kingdom still maintained a law banning the use of mind-altering substances. During the following weeks, Grudgebeard organised numerous drug busts to flush out the dens and cartels operating within the kingdom, reaching as far as to unravel a great conspiracy where a den connected to the Grandaxe clan hall highlighted the participation of their whole clan in smuggling and selling cactus green.
War of the Beards
During the War of the Beards, Officer Grudgebeard maintained a different military title (Sergeant Grudgebeard) and took part in both conflicts and the drilling of recruits in the armies of Jornheim. He was known to co-operate with Torvin Blackaxe, the flying Dwarf, on various military projects.

Attire
The official attire worn by Grudgebeard and his deputies is of his own design, hand-sewn by himself. The uniform provides minor protection, as it is made of sewn cotton, though displays the wearer's affiliation clearly and allows for agility and freedom when handling ranged weapons.
During times of strife or when the city is under siege, Grudgebeard is known to change his attire to what he defines as the "riot gear". A helmet of unknown material replaces his usual officer's hat, and he dons an extra layer of jack of plates sewn into black felt to protect him from stabs and arrows.
The Officer has worn various outfits on the battlefield. All his military attire comes in 16-colour camouflage. His "ranged" armour carries little protection, but can be fitted with a net of leaves to provide extra stealth in forests. In melee, grudgebeard wears armour similar to his "riot gear", though painted green and with a sleeveless shirt.
