Officer Grudgebeard also known as Sergeant Grudgebeard during times of war is the incumbent Sheriff of Kaz'Ulrah charged with maintaining justice in the Kingdom. He was born on an uncertain day to uncertain parents within the great Grudgebeard clan, though he has been the last living member of the clan for the past century or so. Grudgebeard is known for his stern attitude on justice, his legendary proficiency with ranged weapons and his affinity for redstone engineering which gave both the Grand Kingdom of Urguan and the Kingdom of Kaz'Ulrah a wide spectrum of contraptions.

The War on Drugs
Grudgebeard's modern prominence rose during the reign of Bastion Ireheart in the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, during the days descendants discovered the creation of various drugs. The denizens of the kingdom, under the unofficial leadership of Morug oz Brathmordakin, established various drug dens and parlors where they gave into their decadent urges.

During the following weeks, Grudgebeard organized numerous drug busts to flush out the dens and cartels operating within the kingdom, reaching as far as to unravel a great conspiracy where a den connected to the Grandaxe clan hall highlighted the participation of their whole clan in smuggling and selling cactus green.
