The Mercatorii Revolutionary Armies, commonly known as the Mercatorii or the Men of the Infernal Clock, (Hyspanic: Ejércitos Revolucionarios Mercatorii) are a Human Terrorist Organisation operating in Oren and Haense from the beginnings of the Second Era. The Mercatorii, although widely popularized for their ruthless methods of arson, were extremely devouted to Canonism and pursued the protection of clergymen and other church officials.

The First Hour

The First Purge

Almaris had been the residency of the House of ein Ariskiy, a small country family residing in the far edges of Oren. The ein Ariskiy family valued a small family tradition, that which of the Infernal Clock, which would mark the end of Orenian State Oppression whenever the clock hit twelve. Alexsei ein Ariskiy and Helvetia ein Ariskiy - the two eldest sons and only remnants of the family - would go on to pursue their subtle dream with the Mercatore Investigation and Security Counseling, a security and private investigator company to earn a spare coin.

Yet, in 1801 disaster struck. When members of the Security Counseling were having a lunch break while uniformed, a group of Imperial State Army soldiers approached and engaged the mostly unarmed men. This would be known as The First Purge, and define the Mercatorii way of life for the next decade, deciding to take matters into actions of arson rather than negotiation as intended.

The Inferno Period

1802 would mark the beginnings of the Mercatorii Inferno Period. This seven year period (1802-1809) would categorize many carriage, shop and building arsons, as well as murders and robberies. Many carriages would fall victim to these arsons, causing massive property damage.

Finalizing the Inferno Period came the 1809 Burning of the House of Commons in Providence, one of the greatest terrorist strikes the city would withstand. Leaving civilians and officers of the Imperial State Army devastated alike, the Burning of the HoC would lead on to be one of the most scarring MRA events, and one of its largest operations.

The Sedan Rebellion

1811 would show a decisive downturn to the Mercatorii, as of recent events the Principality of Sedan had declared independence from the Holy Orenian Empire causing a window of instability amidst the Anti-Orenian leagues and syndicates.

The Second Purge

1813 would mark the end of the Mercatorii First Hour. A Forward Operating Base located in Providence, used mostly for storage and planning, was located and raided by Ministry of Justice officers. The Mercatorii Head of Operations, Mikhael Schiewart, was arrested alongside some Junior Agents, allowing the remnant Mercatorii Senior Staff to escape. This would show the end of the First Hour, and of the first MRA.

The Second Hour

To be Written.
