Markus I, Duke of Adria, Count of Aldersberg, otherwise known as Markus Marie Sarkozic, was born in the Castle of St. Emalyne during the early hours of the 8th of Owyn's Flame in 1904. His mother, Austina of Aldersberg, and his father, Heinrik, Duke of Adria, welcomed him as their secondborn son and thirdborn child. Markus was frequently left to his own devices while his parents attended to their other children.
