Kzenia Adriata Sarkozic (20th of Horen's Calling, 1906) alternatively known as Xenia Alienora is the daughter of the union between Austina, Countess of Aldersberg and Heinrik, Duke of Adria. The match was one of the most talked of, if not influential, of the time as Adria rose to prominence among the human nations. She was the youngest of four children, typically allowing her freedom as her elder siblings would stand to inherit any family titles or honorances.

Early years

Born on the 20th of Horen's Calling inside the castle of St. Emalyne, her birth was considered mostly successful with the mother's health noted as the only factor of concern. She was born was pale skin and with a speckling of fair locks that shined white in the light, darkening only gradually as she grew. Her middle name, "Adriata", was chosen for the significance that she was a child of Adria despite only inheriting her father's deep green eyes and not his typically Raev-adjacent blackened hair. She spent most of her formative years within the castle, being taught by private tutors as soon as the age of three. She was interested in all things science and writing and found herself studying philosophy and ethical theory by the age of six. She had a fondness for books and scrolls and kept her own collection. She studied multiple languages such as Raevir, Auvergnat, Common, New Marian and dabbled in more obscure languages like Cingedoz.

Her parent's marriage was shaky at best, only being exacerbated by the Adrian Rebellion. Kzenia had grown quite fond with the other noble children her age within Vienne, especially with Henry Charles, the grandson of Charles, King of Aaun. The Adrian Rebellion put a strain on her relationships as many of the people within the kingdom viewed her family as traitors and her father's ex-communication forced her to detest Heinrik; Although she was clever enough to make herself acquaintances with James Leopold's wife, Edith of Reinmar and establish herself as one of her wards which allowed her some sort of freedom to walk freely between both nations without fear. The conflict matured what conscience she already had in her, taking into account her relationship with her mother and her father's rebellion to personally favor Aaun despite being strictly forbidden from speaking with any of them.
