This small-scale rebellion morphed into the Coalition War with time. It's fabled that Emporer Philip's last words before opting to blow up the City were "I have lived steadfast and fierce, I will not kneel to the dogs of war, and my wings shall not be clipped by greedy paws of Staunt.
