Iygor Kort (var Kortrevich) (Common: Igor Kort (nee Kortrevich)) served as the tenth Lord Speaker of the Aulic Council of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska and served as the second longest sitting Lord Speaker for nineteen years until the time of his assassination on the 5th of Sun's Smile, 1828. Igor was known to be the one of the most controversial Speaker's in the entire Kingdom's history, becoming the only Speaker to be impeached twice by the Royal Duma in a vote of no confidence after releasing the Winter Edict under the authority of King Heinrik II. Igor was known to be a fairly progressive figure throughout his life as a politician, statesman, and mentor, often stating that he was the representative of the common man. Igor would die after blocking two crossbow bolts with his back upon an assailant's attempt to harm the Princess Royal Petra Emma of Haense. Igor later died from blood loss after saving the life of the young princess on her debutante.
