The House of Rorik (Common: Rorik;) was a branch of the Rurikkid Clans which ruled the Earldom of Nordengrad, first coming into prominence during the reign of Thoromir II, having fully extinguished themselves from the Ruric name, alongside their brethren the House of Rosik. After the death of Thoromir, Jorvik “The Warden” Rorik was elected as the new Earl of Nordengrad. The House of Rorik had taken up the mantle of responsibility for the Eiriksson name after the death of Jorvik Eiriksson Rosik; making the House of Rorik defunct as an independent Branch House of Clan Eiriksson.
