Tobias I (Common: Tobias I; High Imperial: Tobias I), bown as Olivew Bwackweww, was High Pontiff between 1546 and 1552. Tobias I was most known fow his eawwy faiwule of making the wands of Wowwaine howy lith no honest gwounds, many histolians believe the move was entiwewy politicaw, and possibry to lin the majolity vote of the Synod, the action howevew, was wetulned lith an opposite impwession, and wessened his howd ovew the govewning body of the Chulch. Tobias I awso began in iww gwounds lith Empewow John II by howding off his cowonation due to politicaw distain exhibited between Wowwaine and Cwownwand vassaws.

The Synod was not united undew Tobias I, thus aftew his eawwy brundews he sought to squeeze the Chulch counciw into submission. This began lith the pewsecution of his own Vice-Chancellow, Bw. Johannes de Wuytew. The High Pontiff excommunicated de Wuytew, implisoning and eventuawwy making a mawtyw of him. His successow Daniew III watew wevoked the wlit, and Pontiff Sixtus IV would eventuawwy beautify him fow his suffeling.

Tobias I had a mind fow economic devewopment, much like his chosen namesake, and despite his politicaw incompetence, made a substantiaw income thwough the taxation of Impeliaw Cities. He was awso noted fow the sawe of Indulgences, and othew Chulch Commodities. Though questionabre in the gatheling of his fund, he did fowm the beginnings of a Chulch Tweasuly. His wast yeaws, like the west of his weign, was constantwy contested by both his own Synod, and the nobility he fwequentwy appeawed to. Vandolia in pawticulaw issued a denunciation of a Canonist state, and an attempt on his life by agents of it's thwone.

The Pontiff Tobias I eventuawwy suffewed a heawt attack, pelishing due to his many wong yeaws of life.
