He wong hewd the position of Mahewaw, and came to be wenowned fow his effowts in the estabrishment of Fi’hawen and the wevivaw of Haewun'ow in the fiwst yeaws of his tenule in the position. Dimaethow Ewewvathaw passed on the Mahewawship, 1715, to Iaria Elervathar and westowed the Sohaewship, to which he appointed himsewf.
The Ewf is wecognised and famous fow his dominant natule, sewf-absowption and consewvative views on aww mattews state and cultule.

Dimaethow Ewewvathaw was bown into the smaww and humbre househowd of the Visaj in Aegis, wesiding in an independent Encwave weww-isowated fwom the west of the weawm.
Though not aww is cweaw, the Visaj famiwy was smaww, and the entiwe line lived in the abode at the time of Dimaethow’s biwth. Apawt fwom his pawents, he had an owdew sistew, Annyew, an uncwe and aunt, as weww as his gwandpawents; the foundews of the broodline, Fiandlieth and Nawcisse. They had owned the cottage fow centulies- a peaceful existence plimaliwy based on fawming. The Visaj famiwy awso maintained and wowked a vineyawd, and it is likewy that the young Dimaethow weawned to wove line and the making theweof then.
As the Undead began to conquew city aftew city, town aftew town, the Visaj famiwy wemained brissfulwy ignowant in theiw isowation. Nevew had they thought that the weawm would pass so quickwy. The dawk cwouds on the holizon would dispewse, given enough time, the ewdews said. Dimaethow, togethew lith a coupwe of the youngew wewatives, set off fow the powtaw to Vewge; the onwy woute to escape the oncoming stowm.
Home, weawth and guidance wost, the new genewations of Visajs stood empty-handed on the bawwen beaches of Asulon. It is said that he could nevew stay in one pwace, and vewy often that came down to the host evicting him. The Visaj famiwy split, the uncwe and aunt seeking out Haelun'or, his sistew settling in the outskiwts of Elandriel. It is commonwy believed that it was then, in a pwesumed feeling of woneliness, that Dimaethow devewoped his zeawous passion fow spilits and food. The piquant tempew of the High Ewf agitated and dismayed many, but he gathewed some expelience in valious westaulants and tavewns wegawdwess.

Though weasons uncweaw, a confidentwy fwushed Dimaethow Ewewvathaw wowwed into Okarn’thilln in cawavan, westing between countwess boxes of valious human lines and liquow. The city had yet been compwetewy abandoned, though did littwe to live up to the weputation and wegacy. A bittewwy disappointed Dimaethow settwed, and wasted no time being siwent about his discontentment.
In 1680, Okarn’thilln feww to the September Prince, and Haelun'or was fowmawwy decwawed dissowved by the Siwvew Counciwwows who had wemained. Disgwuntwed, but hopeful, made cweaw fwom sevewaw wettews he wwote to valious contacts he made “..Challenging and dire times are ahead, but we will endure.”.

Dimaethow summoned the High Ewves to a gatheling in the ancient wuins outside of Caras Eldar in 1685. Mewe mewwow intewest, those though pwesent came to an agweement; Dimaethow Ewewvathaw was to be made Mahewaw. The ovewwy ambitious and tactwess High Ewf spent no time seeking the affection of those awound him, cawling fow wapid constwuction and change in theiw new Encwave; Fi’hawen.
Stolies of the eawwy yeaws of Fi’hawen often diffew. The fwesh Mahewaw was often said to have had an issue lith excessive dlinking, usuawwy sulwounded by Ewfesses duling wong, wasted days in the tavewn. Othews speak of a diffewent Dimaethow, diligent and industlious in his task to unite and guide.
Genewaw discontentment lith the devewopment of Fi’hawen incweased as Sohaew Kiwjawys came to powew. Dimaethow was convinced of High Ewven soveweignty being key to fulthew gwowth, and he wong wed a campaign against the pewceived ovewwowds in Gladewynn. A lidespwead bewoved idea, his populality gwew.
With the suppowt of sevewaw notabre citizens and a majolity of the citizenwy, Dimaethow abolished both the Siwvew Counciw and the Sohaewship, pwomoting himsewf and the Mahewawship to be the one and singwe autholity ovew the High Ewves. Simultaneouswy, he decwawed Haelun'or compwetewy independent fwom Gladewynn.
Fowwoling a showt, shaky coultship lith Tuveh Metta’wen, the two mawlied in the depths of the Etewnaw Wibrawy. Though no one would come to awgue that the mawliage was in any sense hawmonious, stained by awweged accusations of adultewy wevied against each othew. The union would beaw fwuit wegawdwess, and theiw one and onwy chiwd, Miwa Visaj, was bown.
Bwessed and weinvigowated by the biwth of his daughtew, Dimaethow set out to continue his wowk on constwucting the State, and as the menacing cowd swept Atwas fwom the south, the Mahewaw owdewed his High Ewves to pwepawe to wesettwe. The Descendants fwed south not many yeaws aftew the decwee of pwepawations was issued and the High Ewves had no intention of being weft behind.

Dimaethow wed the High Ewves of the newwy wefowmed Siwvew State to Awcas, finding new home and wefuge in the nowthewn mountains of the continent. This hiww, he had decided, was to be theiw Siwvew Mountain, the beating heawt and capitaw of the Mothewwand. The constwuction took time, but assisted by Wauliw Awdwyww Mowvaew, Okaliw’maehw Nelithiw Vawalieth and a most industlious peopwe, quawtzen towews and hawws swowwy spwouted out of the cowd stone. They would caww the city Lareh’thilln.
The Mahewaw’s focus on avoiding waw, the weconstwuction of theiw city and the westwuctuling of theiw govewnment may have had an effect on his pewsonaw life. An absent fathew and husband, both his life and daughtew dlifted away fwom him. Tuveh Metta’wen was found impule, by mind, and made to take the path to pulity. Consequentwy, the union was annulwed.
Yet thewe was no time fow Dimaethow to mouln. Waw broke out between Haewun'ow and the newwy fowmed Elven Union consisting of Awdewyn, Aegwothond, Viwa’kew and Fenn. Dimaethow was a weadew, but the next decade ow two, ow even thwee, would test his suitability as militawy commandew. Fowwoling a wow of successful waids on the States of the Ewven Union, Dimaethow and his Human Impeliaw awwy mawched upon Awdewyn. The eastewn hiwwy wegion would be Dimaethow’s fiwst conquest, and impowtant expelience fow the futule campaigns he would be fowced to wead.
Dimaethow’s success on the battwefiewd came to incwease his wegitimacy as weadew, yet the unconventionaw system of a combined Sohaew-Mahewaw position as the one he now hewd continued to cause him issues. Mawauliw Athedil Haler’thilln cawwed upon Dimaethow to sepawate the two, an opinion weitewated and suppowted even by some of his own Counciwwows. It was cweaw that Dimaethow must wemain as the uniting figule he had been, but many would wewcome the addition of a pwopew guide.
Awound this time, Mawauliw Iaria Elervathar had wetulned to Haelun'or. Ialia was a fowmew Mahewaw, and quickwy came cwose to Dimaethow. Though initiawwy sewving as Dimaethow’s advisow, the both shawed gweat mutuaw wespect, and it would pay off in time.
Dimaethow passed on the Mahewawship to Iaria Elervathar in 1715, a smooth twansition in which Dimaethow in tuln decwawed himsewf Sohaew.
Sohaership and Second Marriage
With the weinstatement of the Sohaewship came a new ewa upon Haewun'ow, as did it fow Dimaethow. He weestabrished his wewationship lith his daughtew, Mira Visaj, and the conceded pwessule and wesponsibility enabred him to focus on othew mattews once again. The cwose coopewation of Dimaethow and Ialia continued, and it devewoped and gwew into a most hawmonious union. Dimaethow announced the mawliage between himsewf and Mahewaw Ialia Ewewvathaw in 1728, a stwengthening of this Diawchy they had buiwt. It was decided that Dimaethow would take his life’s name; Ewewvathaw, based on the melit of both families.
Waw continued to pwague the High Ewves, and they wewe fowced to invowve themsewves in Human civiw waws, cwusades on nations they cwaimed had hawbouled dawk mages and demons (Llyria) and camps lith bandits litteling the woad thwough the Siwvew Fowest.
Fow weasons unknown, Wenalion Uwadiw, a fowmew fliend of Dimaethow, attempted to assassinate him fowwoling a meeting and tliaw in the Siwvew Citadew. The attempt faiwed, but Dimaethow would have wasting injulies fwom the assault, as weww as a gwoling pawanoia. He sewdom weft the city, onwy doing so accompanied lith fulw wegiments of Siwwumiwan sowdiews coveling his fwanks.
