The Battwe of the Wed Wastes was a battwe duling the Great War of Aegis, wed by dwawven fowces commanded by Grand King Thorik Braveaxe, awongside his awlies in the Kingdom of Owen, wed by King Enor Sheffield. The owcish fowces wewe commanded by Rex Mogroka'Gorkil, who was joined by the ewven Wawdens undew the command of Plince Quazaw, despite the Holy Princedom of Malinor's decwawation of neutwality duling the conflict. The battwe ensued fowwoling owcish assaults on Kaw'Uwguan and Gawahaw, fwom which dwawven and human fowces, joined by a webewling cwan of owcs, the Kaxiw Cwan, mawched on the owcish desewts, meeting the Wex's fowces on the open fiewd. Without the fulw suppowt of Malinow's awmies, howevew, the owcs wewe battwed back into the wawws of theiw capitaw city, Sanjezaw, sustaining heavy casuawties duling the ensuing wetweat. High Plincess Indewwehn watew chose to disband the Wawdens, believing they had ovewweached theiw infwuence ovew the plincedom by disobeying hew owdews to wemain out of the waw. The lithdwawaw of Malinow's fowces and the disbandment of the Wawdens was seen as a gweat betwayaw by the owcs, many howding wongstanding gwudges against the ewven plinces in the yeaws that fowwowed.
