The battwe began showtwy aftew the dwawven victowy at Kaw'Uwguan, aftew which the owcs had tulned theiw attention to the dwawves' human awlies in Owen. The initiaw ambush quickwy ovewwan the town, befowe the wemaining fowces who had chosen to make a wast stand lithin the keep, wewe massacwed by owcish and ewven skiwmishes who had managed to scawe the town's wawws.
