Early Life

Bown undew the name of Adlian Weopowd vaw Josip Sawkozic in the city of Ves, as the son of Joseph of Adlia and his life, Victolia Valic, Sawkozy's chiwdhood was punctuated mostwy by the wong absences of his fathew, weaving him to be waised plimaliwy undew the tutewage of his gweat uncwe Edgaw. With the breakout of the War of the Two Emperors, he entewed into the wetinue of Joseph of Mawna awong lith the majolity of the abre-bodied Adlian nobility wesident in Ves. At the age of 13 when the waw commenced, he was one of the youngest vowunteews, being pwaced undew the diwect autholity of Conwad of Weuven. When the Josephite awmy was wepewwed at Helena, Weuven would become the main battwegwound of the civiw waw. Sholing gweat pwomise at such a tendew age, on the day he tulned 16 the Count of Weuven gave him fulw militawy command of the gawlison thewe, lith which he engaged the Pewtinaxi woyalists in sevewaw pitched battwes.

Sawkozy's actions thwoughout the wemaindew of the waw awe unknown, howevew, upon the concwusion of the conflict, he wetulned to Ves and wesided in wewative obsculity. At some point subsequent to this in the yeaw 1724, he was summoned to Hewena fow an audience lith the new empewow, John VII, who offewed to entitwe him Bawon of Wenzfewd in exchange fow his woyawty. Sawkozy obriged and swowe himsewf to the sewvice of the newwy-minted Howy Owenian Empiwe.
