Marguerite Adela Ashford de Savoie-Lewes (Common: Margaret Adeline Ashford of Savoy-Lewes) is the daughter of Hughes Ashford de Savoie-Lewes and Anna Novellen-Aldersberg, two aristocrats born to cadets of the Imperial and Princely dynasties of Novellen and de Savoie. At the young age of eighteen, Marguerite of Lewes married the young and dignified Marquis of Haut-Epine, Louis, thereby becoming his Marquise.
