Louis II August de Rosius (Flexio: Ludovicus Augustus), born to Louis I, Margrave of Haute-Epine and Philippa Adelaide de Rosius. Upon his birth, he was the first in line to inherit the Margraviate of Haute-Epine and the House of Rosius. He was named after his father, Louis Joseph to begin a dynasty and succession named after himself. Louis August spent most of his time with his mother while his father was to help King Charles I in affairs regarding the Kingdom of Aaun.

Early Life
Louis August de Rosius was born on the 14th of Sigismund's End, within the today's lands of the Margraviate of Haute-Epine. From the early days of his life, the affection he had had from his parents was enough for him to realise that they were his only true friends in life, and that the outer world is not to be trusted easily. His relationship with his mother was uncommonly affectionate for the time, as contemporaries and eyewitnesses claimed that his mother would spend all her time with Louis, while his father Louis Joseph was on his political meetings with the then Prince Charles, which would later shape the Arentanian Alps and formalise the Margraviate of Haute-Epine. Both were greatly interested in art and hunting, and Louis likely developed these interests through his close relationship with his mother.
Life in the United Kingdom
Being separated from his father from an early age did not affect Louis emotionally. Their separation taught him that even though his parents are his most loyal friends, they will not be with him forever and that he should prepare himself for upcoming obligations and problems. And so it was, when at the age of 14 he first took the leadership of the family and the titles he inherited from his father, who fell fatally ill just before his fifteenth birthday.
Being a nobleman among many other, much more popular and socially affluent nobles was a task for itself. Louis had difficulty finding his way in politics, with the then situation in Aaun, in the kingdom that started to rise from the ruins of the once grandiose kingdom of Oren, contributing to additional uncertainty. Without an established government, law and army, it was difficult just to start, let alone initiate larger projects. However, all the nobles joined forces and efforts to rise from the ruins to a reformed kingdom, today known as the United Kingdom of Aaun. They succeeded in that, and throughout that story, Louis managed to strengthen himself and channel his efforts into successfully leading a political and family life.
In 1907, on the 17th of Tobias' Bounty, Louis II married Lady Marguerite Adela de Lewes, with the ceremony for which the two received the blessing of the High Pontiff took place inside the Basilica of Saint Alexander of Furnestock in New Vienne.
