Franz Arthur Sarkozic (Raevir: Franz Iosifovich Sarkozic, Flexio: Franciscus Artorios) was born to Joseph Sarkozic, Baron of Pompourelia and Catherine, Princess Imperial. He was the 3rd Baron of Pompourelia and the 10th Head of Sarkozic. He was named in honor of his great-great grandfather Prince Franz Nikolai of Sutica. Franz was also the founder of The Pompourelian Trading Company
Early Life
Being born to Joseph Sarkozic, Baron of Pompourelia and to Catherine, Princess Imperial in the year of 1862; Franz was named as the heir to the Barony of Pompourelia. His father and mother made sure that he had a good upbringing as a child with noble and imperial heritage. They allowed him to spend much time with his maternal grandparents Philip III, Holy Orenian Emperor and Anastasia I, Holy Orenian Empress which instilled him with the etiquette and uses of the Novellen dynasty very early on. His father however, tried to instill the Raevir warrior in him; allowing him to fight in many battles beside him and his mother; until the death of his father after the Battle of Arichsdorf. The tragedy left Franz without any paternal figure in his life to guide him except for his uncle Laurent who took regency in the Barony of Pompourelia alongside his wife Thea Helaine Halcourt until Franz was of age. Franz celebrated his seventh birthday during the middle of the Brother's War, he was forcefully taken into questioning in Aster Hall whilst he was in search of his Mother during the Standoff at Fort Linnord. With the help of his Regent and a few cookies he was convinced to sign the oath of fealty, which he did quite poorly, and join the Royalist cause. His cousin Katerina had sworn fealty to the Imperialists a few days prior causing a split between the family. The Sarkozic's and Sarkozy's would clash in the battle of New Providence which would end in a Royalist victory. This victory sealed the seemingly permanent split in the family and spelled a new beginning for the Sarkozic's which retained their Barony in the new Kingdom. Tension between the Royalists and Imperialists would continue and the young Baron's goal to unify the house under the Kingdom of Oren would continue until his late childhood and early adulthood. His time spent in the Kingdom of Oren would prove him as a well-meaning philanthropist and successful party host, his city Manor on Ivanovich Four, Vienne would be the site of many major gatherings. This would attract the attention of the Orenian Royalty and Chancellery and in act of acknowledgement they bestowed upon him the title of "Keeper of the Swans". After a brief "Golden Age" as Franz would describe it, the Kingdom of Oren began to crumble and soon after the Castle of Pompourelia. With the new Harvest Confederacy knocking down the place they used to call home, Franz and his family moved to Grodno along with other refugee families
