Prince Godfrey Renault (Savoyard: Godfroy) was the firstborn son to Prince Leufroy Renault, son of Olivier I of Savoy, and his wife Caterina Helane.
Early Life
Born as Godfrey Renault de Savoie-Lewes, he would squire under Sir Edmond de Rouen and tutor under his grandfather, Olivier I of Savoy. He was described as a callous youth, although he found acceptable friendship with his kin. Godfrey participated in an attempted coup led by his father, Prince Leufroy, House Savoie-Lewes fleeing to Oren shortly after. In the coming years, and the disappearance of his father, he continued his studies with Ser Edmond, participating in the Siege of Southbridge at eight years old, and later the Siege of Haverlock.
