Owein aep Cynan (21st of the First Seed, 1577 - 4th of Snow's Maiden, 1638), was the second and final commander of the Nauzica Brigade, during the sixth Empire until his death in 1638 during the Coup of Adelburg.
History
Born in Aeldin, to a wealthy burgher family of Seventian origin. Coming from a rather wealthy family, Owein was given a proper education, taught how to read and write, to an acceptable extent at the very least. Once he entered his adult life he traveled to Axios and enlisted in the newly re-formed Imperial Legion, he would serve for a short amount of time before being transferred, as the Legion lacked the proper Legions. He'd be transferred to the Imperial Brigade, where Owein would distinguish himself and earn himself the rank of Sergeant. Years later, the Nauzica Brigade would be reformed and as the first and most experienced applicant to the Brigade, Owein would quickly rise and become second in command to its first commander; Draken Lancefeld. A few years after service, Draken would be raised to Grand Knight, as such he would be forced to leave the Brigade. Owein was picked as his successor. Two Emperors would pass whilst Owein was in the Brigade, but in the year 1638 John VI, Holy Orenian Emperor at the time, would be ambushed by traitors, in his very own palace. Owein aep Cynan, died with many other loyalists defending their Emperor and Empire.
