Artist rendition of Yeu Rthulu manifest.

The Aengul known as Yeu Rthulu is a lesser aengul whose range of power seems to be extremely limited. A small but dedicated priesthood adheres to her tenets and promotes the ideals of compassion and contentedness. Wishing to enlighten mortal kind with her series of scriptures, she's an ambiguous being who fuels her chosen caste of priests, the Augurs. Providing them with a life free from sin should they care for her scriptures and pass on her teachings, the Augurs are granted longevity so that the few followers that she has can be safeguarded from untimely demise, whether it be through pestilence or short life-spans.

Full Lore

Yeu Rthulu is the aengul of contentment and compassion, a minor aengul and one that is extremely lesser known. Of the few who acknowledge her existence many refer to her as their God or patron instead of aengul.

Scattered accounts from dreams and visions, believed to be of Yeu Rthulu, portray the aengul as joking, laughing, and even speaking with hints of sarcasm. Her followers state that this is due to the fact it is impossible to be truly content without laughter.

All signs point to the aengul's purpose being to help the followers of the Rthulan faith become content. It is noted however, that Yeu Rthulu seems to have a habit of being stuck manifested in the mortal plane. While rare there are even some rumored to be her children which inspires followers to believe the aengul is currently manifest somewhere.

Depictions

Typically Yeu Rthulu is depicted as an elven maiden with snow white skin and deep blue eyes (many members of clan Signus share such traits and thus believe they are the children of the aengul). Despite depictions showing the aengul as female most followers of the Rthulan faith refer to her as 'It', possibly due to them thinking her their God.

Compared to other aenguls, Yeu Rthulu is seldomly depicted as an animal. In these rare instances however she is shown as a possum bearing pure white fur.

The Strictures

The Strictures of Yeu Rthulu are thirty strict rules said to be set in place by the aengul herself to help mortals be content with their life. Their true origins are unknown as are their date of creation. It is said that Yeu Rthulu wrote them back when aenguls and daemons freely roamed our realm.

Kavenjun

(Kah-Ven-Yuhn)

Artist rendition of Kavenjun.

Kavenjun is the realm of the afterlife created for Rthulan believers with a pure heart and a content mortal life. Very little is known of this realm and some argue that it doesn't even exist. Yet its existence is said to be confirmed by Yeu Rthulu herself.

In different accounts of visions and dreams Kavenjun is depicted as being a small, snowy paradise not in the mortal plane. It is described as an area filled with laughter and song, where one can be eternally content, with their family and friends forever.
