Xavier de Sola (7th of Snow's Maiden, 1461 – Unknown) was the illegitimate half-brother and trusted confidant of the Duke of Istria, Titus de Sola, making him the son of the famed military dictator, Vibius de Sola.
At some stage prior to 1518, he was introduced to a coven of frost witches, whom he blackmailed to conduct political assassinations against noblemen of House Vladov. He was discovered, and in 1518 brought to trial by Adam de Gleivesen. The resulting proceedings would result in the Massacre of Wett and precipitate the catastrophic Dukes' War. Following the disaster at Wett, he was excommunicated and arrested, however he escaped his binds and disappeared, presumably to Aeldin. His final fate is unknown.
John I was known to bear a peculiar antipathy towards his uncle Xavier, burning all portraits of him upon his accession to the throne in 1526, despite the fact that he was likely long dead by then.
