The Highland Cleansing (Òraid a Tuath:Na Fuadaichean) was a small-scale war that began on the 1st Deep Cold, Year 19 of the Second age, where the Skanarri people invaded the undefended Sutherland area and then pressed on to the Barton region, then layed siege to and conquered the town of Dunbar in the Northwest of Almaris. The Skanarri victory caused the remainder of the Barrach Agnethe People to scatter across Almaris, with many fleeing to the Holy Orenian Empire.

Timeline

- The Skanarri march into the undefended Sutherland region and establish their warcamps and supply lines.
- The Barrach Clan Chief Iain MacNish Barrach sends for reinforcements from his allies, yet due to his isolation no response is recieved.
