The Red Sands War, also called the Pillager War, was a wide-scale conflict within the continent of Failor between the native Pillager species and the incoming Descendants of Almaris. The war began after the Descendant peoples began encroaching upon Pillager territories and settled within their lands, slowly pushing the Pillagers to the more desolate areas of Failor known as the Wastelands. The Clans of the Pillager Peoples decided to unite against the incoming threat and launched several raids against Descendant settlements, which led to retaliation in the form of sieges against the various Pillager outposts.
