The Amaethea War was a prolonged conflict between the Princedom of Elvenesse and the Anti-Elvenesse Alliance. The conflict was initiated when Laetranis ap Tahorran murdered Vulen Calithil extrajudicially while he was surrendering his weapons to Elvenessi Sentinels who were arresting him under allegations of treason that stemmed from him telling a Dedicant to go to the Mother Grove instead of the Father Grove.
