Theobald Charles (High Imperial: Theobaldus Carolus) of House d’Anpalais served as an Imperial Knight within the Empire of Man and as a favored scribe to Antonius I. The Prince of Beaufort also boosted the name of his house, once consigned to oblivion, in the Seventh Empire and was instated as a Lord Temperal of Imperial Parliament.
Biography
Early Life
Raised in solitude with his twin sister and his Johannian cousins in Aeldin, Theobald had a moderately uneventful childhood -- Despite rumors of physical abuse afflicted onto him by a family member unbeknownst to the public. Upon reaching the beginnings of his adolescence, he and his sister Maria set off on a voyage to Arcas, where they would settle into Imperial life. Theobald, the martially inclined of the two, began as a squire under the Dragon knight Ser Carlovac Kovachev -- where he'd continue until being knighted at the young age of nineteen.
The charge on Alderyn
As tensions stirred between the Imperium and a successor nation to the Dominion of Malin, known as Alderyn, Theobald and his fellow comrades led a raid that eventually prompted the capture of several members of the Elven Seed, Ithelanen. His proficiency in soldiery and premeditating the forthcoming actions of the opposition prefaced the scorching of their city.
Marriage
On the year 1711, The Prince's sister, Maria d'Anpalais, arranged a marriage between himself and Joanna of Furnstocke -- the illegitimate daughter of the Prince of Alstion, Alexander Horen, and his mistress Ailsa Gromach. Soon thereafter, Joanna was impregnated and was sent to the Aeldinic Kingdom of Banardia; Prince Theobald and his spouse are said to hold their main residence in the capital of Strathmore.
Issue
Theobald was wed to Lady Joanna Jrent and has issue.
