Type: Bandits for Hire

The Rustlers are a group of bandits for hire founded in 1822 by siblings Elsil’Ceru and Elsiimah’Ceru. Though they are primarily known for pillaging the roads, they are also known to fight alongside certain nations and groups in exchange for coin.

History

Founding

The Rustlers were founded in 1822 by siblings Elsil’Ceru and Elsiimah’Ceru. Though former Goats of Sedan and veterans of the failed Sedan Rebellion, the two siblings decided to desert the Goats and form their own company following the overbearing restrictions placed upon them. Though the Rustlers started small, their numbers expanded dramatically following a large recruitment drive which took place over their first year of existence.

Early Years

Settlement: A few months after their founding, the Rustlers were offered secret refuge within the Unified Domain of Vortice in a fort just outside the capital of Talon’s Port. As years went by, the Rustlers began to grow displeased with their agreement with Vortice, as they felt the terms of settlement were unfair and did not benefit them.

Activity: Throughout the early days of the Rustlers, it was rare--though not unheard of--to find the company participating in any proper raids or large scale battles. Instead, the Rustlers preferred to take their operations to the roads and rob unsuspecting passerbys.
