Lord Percival Staunton was an Imperial nobleman and former merchant, serving as Duke of Courland (formerly the Duchy of Vanaheim) from 1527 to 1537. Originally the son of a wealthy wine merchant in Petrus, he became Baron of Highclaire, Eastbourne and Fjordham before ascending to Count of Westmark and then Duke of Courland shortly after.
