Sir Paul Dmitrievich Montalt, formerly Pavel Dmitrievich of House Ivanovich, was born on 14th of Horen's Triumph, 1859.

History

Born in the waning days of Emperor Philip III's reign, he was brought up as the bastard half-elf son of Dima Cato Ivanovich and a Dark Elven sorceress. As a 14-year-old boy, Paul participated in the Brothers War as a conscript recruited by Sir Darius of Mardon to the Royal Army. Befriending his cousin Andrezj Barrow, the two fought together for the duration of the war. As Andrezj Barrow slew the disputed Emperor Peter III during the climactic Battle of New Providence, so too did Paul kill the son of Lord Carrion who fought for the Imperialist faction in the civil war.
