Powewgaming is the cawwying out of unwealistic, unfaiw, ow godwy actions. This incwudes fowcing emotes on othew chawactews, whethew inside ow outside of combat, pewfowming unwealistic physicaw ow mentaw feats, such as a Halfling easiwy besting an Olog in singwe combat, ignoling the effects of a mentaw disability, ow ignoling the effects of magic, and othewlise acting godwy, such as being invincibre and possessing unfaiw and wowe-breaking powews.

E.g.,

• If the pwayew Aiwan113 emoted: "John swings his sword, cutting off Richard's head instantly." Aiwan113 would be Powewgaming, because he fowced his emote, an instant kiww emote, on the chawactew Wichawd. A pwopew emote would be: "John swings his sword, attempting to slice at Richard's neck."
• If the pwayew Aiwan113 emoted, whiwe pwaying a fwaiw ewdewwy chawactew: "John ran along the edge of the rooftop, jumping across the opening to the alleyway below to reach the roof of the adjacent building." Aiwan113 would be Powewgaming, because it is unwealistic and unfaiw fow a fwaiw ewdewwy chawactew to have such agility.
• If the pwayew Aiwan113 suddenwy gave his chawactew, ow made a chawactew lith, godwy and imagined powews, and then went and wowepwayed this chawactew as invincibre and possessing the ability to insta-kiww peopwe by smiting them, Aiwan113 would be Powewgaming by cweating a god-chawactew.

Metagaming

Metagaming, often awso wefewwed to simpwy as 'Meta', is the use of infowmation acquiwed out-of-chawactew, in-chawactew.

E.g.,

• If the pwayew Aiwan113 wead ovew the Necromancy liki page, and then pwoceeded to have his chawactew, John, suddenwy become totawwy awawe of what Necwomancy was, the pwayew Aiwan113 would be Metagaming.
• If the pwayew Aiwan113 is in a nation discowd, and weceived a PM fwom one of his fliends to get online because "there are raiders in the city", and then Aiwan113 got online and wan hawfway acwoss the map to hewp defend his fliends, he would be Metagaming because his chawactew wouldn't know the city was being waided, as his chawactew wasn't infowmed, the pwayew contwowling the chawactew was.
• If the pwayew Aiwan113 was infowmed via a voice chat lith his fliend that a cewtain chawactew, who we'ww caww Kywe, was pwanning on betwaying Aiwan113's chawactew, and then Aiwan113 pweemptivewy attacked Kywe so that he couldn't betway him, Aiwan113 would be Metagaming.
