Konstantin II of House Ruthern is the thirteenth Count of Metterden and the patriarch of House Ruthern. Born in 1710 to Konstantin Ruthern and Aaliyah of Vrakai, he was the youngest child of four siblings, and was never expected to rise to become lord. His youth was blackened by the death of his father at ten, and his older brothers Viktor and Tuvya at eighteen. He served as his nephew Siguine's regent and guardian until he came of age, advising him until Siguine's presumed death in 1739. As his nephew did not have an heir of his body, Konstantin rose to the lordship.
