Juliya Rose (High Imperial: Iulia Rosa), of House Basrid, was the firstborn daughter to Anthony Alexios Basrid and his Rutherni wife, Valeria. She was often amongst the Augustine court, even since birth, and was well liked due to her sociable nature and artistic flair. She later married into the Imperial Family and became a poet and foreign diplomat.

Early Life

Juliya Rose was born beside her twin brother on the 23rd of Sun's Smile, 1808, in the Orenian capital city of Providence. Her mother, Valeria, took much charge of naming the baby. Even from birth, Juliya was naturally inclined to the arts, culture and literature, and was often surrounded by such by means of her scholarly father. While she was tutored accordingly, as any noble girl was, Juliya excelled in reading and writing and thus the very early stages of her childhood were spent mulling about various libraries or with her nose in a book or two. While her mother, father and various tutors praised her for this, it was to be noted that this indefinitely contributed her introverted tendencies throughout her early adolescence.
