The House of Ruthern (Common: Ruthern; Raevir: Ruthovic; High Imperial: Rutenes) is the current ruling family of the County of Metterden and vassal of the Kingdom of Haense. House Ruthern is an ancient militaristic house, originally ennobled by Exalted Sigismund in the days of the Second Empire, and re-ennobled on the 11th of the Sun’s Smile, 1565.
